Read this old article and steel yourself that you just might be right 🙂
Trapani deployment was a trip for us. On the hook for certain stuff on the continent but a minimum of 6+ hours away IF everything logistics wise works. CV will win out if it can show up in most situtations now days.
There isn't anything out there that's "better". Its all shot placement. Could have been one round to take one down or the hundreds to skin (aircraft) and non critical components. CV was the only thing that would have accomplished the objectives as the mission required though.
Point me to something that is a better option? Better would have to be able to suck up the amount of rounds they took, land, load up, and then fly away again.
18 and 19 year old kids with more than likely some very shady influences will make things very interesting now that everything is supposedly out in the open.
According to Russian sources the drone which hit Dyagilevo airbase was a Tupolev Tu-141 Strizh, a Soviet-made recon drone from the 1970s and 1980s.
Hilarious if true. Maybe Russia doesn't want to admit UKR has something new....
where is this footage? I think this would make mainstream news at a minimum. Found it on eurasiantimes.com. The comments pretty much cover it, could have been anything and nothing.

Good to know. This is what I read. Granted it's on a youtube comment but he seems pretty adamant

Juan, just to give some further context to your excellent reporting, the Air Boss was brand new. This was his first air show as the "Air Boss" and is the son of the former air boss who had retired the year before after a lengthy career as the Wings over Dallas Air Show air boss. According to pilots that were in the briefing prior to the show that day, they report that the briefing was lacking in various substantive and vital information such as altitude deconfliction yet no one including a FAA representative that was in attendance raised any concern about the inadequatenes of the briefing by this new air boss.

Crew:"Tower, headed out to Persian Gulf for water work, back in...."
Tower" "NEGATIVE, there is no Persian Gulf, you are going to Arabian gulf yes?"
Crew: "uh yeah, yup thats the one."

We're in pattern as required "callsign 11 i dont like how you are flying, you go to far, you come back and go home"
Is there an article or statement somwhere specifically stating which companies have stopped adverstising? I'm just saying there has been thousands of "such and such according to so and so" lately. I'm not taking any sides here.
Lots of billionaires in here with vast experience running social media companies too. It's awesome. So much knowledge and insight as to how many workers are required and what needs to be done to sustain/grow the company.
