Exactly what I'd expect from you. My disapointment is because I definitely lean conservative. She and what she supposedly runs on is not my values or anything close to the consistution. The what aboutism is nauseating now days.

Nailed it. I was thinking the same as your second paragraph reading your first. I have a relative who is an admissions counselor and they have annual training to "deal with veterans". She has explained some of the training and its very disheartening. Basically walk on egg shells around them because they could explode at any moment and offer accomadations above and beyond anything offered to "normies". Like you said, could be a guy who didn't complete basic training or follow on training. And the shitbags amomgst the veteran community will be the first to demand accomadations and adulations that the majority of veterans want nothing to do with.

Has been my experience as well. Have had two great people self ID as looking for an award for whatever reason. Class agreed they were good people and pushed them at the right times. Much better than the two faced assholes gunning for whatever bullshit they were giving out.

I'm tracking. I think it's a bit disingenuous to compare firing into a street protest bunch versus a somewhat organized group of people smashing through doors/windows in the capitol. Still not justified but not the same level.

Had to remind the 70 year old sitting next to me that it was a fucking movie after his 20th discussion with his wife about how "that's not how it really works". Other than the middle 45 minutes of useless drama, it was fucking outstanding. And yes, MILF champion of the world.

I can't think of any situation where being retirement eligible and not doing it makes any sense. You can retire and still fly guard/reserve as mentioned above.
