I've been feeling sorry for Vettel for a while now, so glad to see him on the podium again.

I'm tending to agree with you on Ricciardo. I'm also starting to wonder the same thing about Vettel. Vettel has consistently underperformed in comparison to his teammate for the last couple of years, so you can't blame the car... I'm also looking forward to the sprint qualifying. I can see lots of variables bringing a level of uncertainty and excitement to what is currently a very boring and predictable qualifying session.

I came to this conclusion during season 1 of the show, but seasons 2 and 3 reinforced it for me: Christian Horner is a bit of a douchebag. I agree that Mazepin has no business in F1. Are we taking any bets on him being replaced at the mid-point of the season? I feel like Gene Haas isn't going to tolerate him too long. Would Albon consider that seat just to get back on the track this year?

Schumacher did the exact same thing on the exact same corner a lap or two later, he just got lucky and didn't crash into the wall. Williams must love the feeling of not being last all the time! I was disappointed a bit in Season 3 from Netflix. Felt disjointed and they spent 5 seconds on Grosjean's crash. They had an opportunity to talk about mental resiliency, and air some of the Grosjean interview where he talked about getting his mental health squared away, but dropped the ball. And the last episode spending 5 seconds talking about race also felt like an afterthought.

Ah, so you mean the root cause analysis approach wasn't used? And a ridiculous recommendation was born from it that in no way would have prevented the mishap from occurring? Garuda was great. 14 hr flight between AMS and Jakarta, and hour flights between Jakarta and Pekanbaru/Surabaya. Funnily enough, *I* got spatial D'd on takeoff from Surabaya just looking out the window because it was pitch black and immediately feet wet. All cultural lighting was behind us. I had to close the shade, lol. Lion Air was fine, but the flight attendents were wearing flip flops basically. Not great in an emergency egress situ, I wouldn't think. We had to have our POC in country purchase our tix for this flight (Pekanbaru to Surabaya), because the corporate travel company wasn't allowed to. It was a daytime flight and wx was SCT.

I've flown Garuda and Lion Air (in 2019) and lived... Kinda hard to avoid when you have to fly between multiple islands for work.

Same with Monaco (gasp, I said it). George made Lewis' car fly, and that's a monumental achievement considering it wasn't built to his proportions.

Did you guys see Grosjean's interview they aired before the race. Pretty much a must-watch, hopefully it's on YouTube somewhere. From a resiliency standpoint if nothing else! Gutted for Russell. I'm kinda hoping he gets a second crack at it next weekend. Also, Vallteri has got some resilience after all his bad luck this year! Actually forcing agile processes in lumbering SPO machinework. DevSecOps. Figuring out a way to identify early on where a given program is worth the squeeze; nothing is "too big to fail" these days. It's definitely forced a mindshift change throughout AFLCMC. As an operator now working at a SPO, It was eye-opening to see the lumbering machine, and then witness the beginning of the transformation to something better. He's forcing folks to think outside the box, and not rest on "that's the way it's always been done". Some of those things are less tangible to the warfighter right now, but will pay dividends over time. ETA: Also, he appears well-respected in the Acquisition community. So even though he's effecting change, it's been executed in an effective manner.

I've used them both and liked them both! Where in ABQ are you looking to buy? You'll get more bang for your buck out on the west mesa or Rio Rancho, but have a much shorter commute in the NE Heights. I lived on the west mesa, Paseo/Unser area.
