thread revival.. So I bought this MIL to GA adapter for my C-17 headset: https://www.marvgolden.com/mg-09-helicopter-to-g-a-headset-adapter.html And it worked in a Cessna 182. The earphone impedance was definitely higher as I had to turn the volume all the way up to hear everything. I'm going to mod my headset and see if I can reduce it down to 300 ohms since I'll never get to fly a C-17 again anyways.

I'm hoping to volunteer and do some fun and rewarding missions since I get none of that satisfaction anymore at work. It really seems like a good program. Most of the guys in the group I joined are retired AF pilots anyways.what about GPA? I have a BS in Computer Science from Georgia Tech but my undergrad GPA was a 2.88. Should I even bother or is there a remote chance? I thought the min was a 3.0. I am almost done with my masters but it's basically a basket weaving degree.Well I checked the single engine box and almost got away with it but the FSDO guy caught it at the last min.So I used my records showing that I was a C17 IP to get my CFII and MEI from the FSDO.. but I can't teach in single engine because the c-17 was multiengine!farking awesome.. gave me chills just reading itno change of getting SOS in res in RPA squadron either..so not really a lossI know of at least 1 beta that's leaving for an LRE deployment.
