  1. A simple "Thanks guys, you saved our asses today," as we're checking out, works for me. Or not even that...the dudes on the ground still breathing as I check out is reward enough. Unfortunately, that doesn't work for the jacked up OPR/Awards program we have...
  2. Yes...let's make chicks part of the draft too. That way, when your daughter comes into the squadron as an ops tech, I can plow her too!
  3. This should suffice. "Man, my instrument approaches could use some work!" "I hate dropping CBU!" "I'm glad the tail kits are hard wired shut!" "No, sorry...we can't give you a show of force." "Low Level?? Fuck that!" "GCI...you're not talking enough."
  4. So if everyone has to put it on every authorization...then why is it not standard? This should be autofilled or a check box, then just have a place to give a justification. At the very least, have the statement somewhere on DTS so I can cut and paste it into my authorization. The only plus side, is the smart ass comments I enter for my justification, at least I get a laugh... I'll second a page that looks just like the paper voucher. Fill it out and have the program pull all the info from this source. I'm guessing that this would cost the DOD another 300 mil, to make something like that happen though.
  5. It's existence! Ctrl-Alt-Del N/A We've pumped half billion into this POS!?!?! THIS! Just get rid of that fucking system! It takes me 2-5 minutes max to fill out a paper voucher! Prior to DTS, I never had a problem, getting airline tickets/hotels/rental cars. Since switching to DTS, I have yet to go on a TDY where something wasn't totally fucked with DTS. We still have the same number of finance folks as before we switch to DTS. Now they spend most of their time fielding calls on how to un-fuck a DTS problem. Also please train your folks to screen the whole voucher before rejecting, rather than just sending it back at the first thing they find. My favorite is having to put a statement in there as to why I can't accomplish my business via secure video teleconferencing (SVTC)...on EVERY voucher! Finance, apparently doesn't think my justifications are as funny as I do. But seriously...I'm flying a fucking jet to DEPOT! Is this statement really needed?
  6. "Would I hit it" and "is she hot" are two totally different things...let's not confuse the two!
  7. They're actually all over...lots of fun. Best done on TDY, NOT you base, things just work better that way.
  8. Korean War vet shoots intruder inside home Published May 09, 2012 Associated Press ELIZABETH, Pa. – Police say an 84-year-old western Pennsylvania man wounded a home invasion suspect with the gun he carried in the Korean War. Elizabeth Township police say 25-year-old Raymond Hiles was captured not long after trying to break into Fred Ricciutti's home early Tuesday morning. Ricciutti tells WPXI-TV (http://bit.ly/JdVDJ1 ) he heard Hiles break a window and then confronted him, firing a single shot that grazed Hiles' neck. Investigators say Hiles was arrested a few blocks away, carrying a screwdriver and a stun gun. He's being held on $100,000 bail on charges including criminal trespass and burglary. Online court records don't list an attorney for Hiles. Authorities say they don't expect to bring any charges against Ricciutti. ___ Information from: WPXI-TV, http://www.wpxi.com Read more: http://www.foxnews.c.../#ixzz1uNgE53ar
  9. Glad the pilot is ok. Standing by for safety down day...
  10. FUCK YOU! Who the fuck cares about medals?!?! You can have mine!
  11. True, she is the best looking one. But I'm with Grind on this one, i'll take my chances with second from the left. Plus, it's much more fun to chase enlisted chicks!
  12. I guess that depends on where you grew up. A classmate of mine borrowed his dads truck, to drive to school on day. He didn't even think about the 30-30 hanging on the gun rack in the window of said truck. He just got pulled out of class and told to take it home...only after someone driving by called the school to report it. (circa 2000) Back to your regularly scheduled program http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlhb-qv3wLo
  13. Good old days?!?! This was in the late 90's/early 2000's! Then it sounds like a cluster of kids (followers) with questionable morals/values. They know what's right and what's wrong, it just takes balls to stand up for those values. Great, sounds like we're raising a generation of pussies! I didn't say punish the parents. But if their kids do act like this, then they need to kick them in the ass! Or question the values that they have instilled (or didn't), in their kids. 2!
  14. WTF is wrong with kids these days?! This crap never happened at my school because we policed our own. You started bullying someone...you got the shit kicked out of you. I got in a fight with someone on the bus because he was wouldn't stop picking on a kid that had a learning disability. Bus driver looked in her mirror, saw me beating up said d-bag, and kept on driving. Got a nod from the bus driver as I walked off the bus...never heard anything more about it! I'm also going to place blame on the parents! If my old man found out I was picking on someone at school, he would have kicked my ass...and I knew he could do it! Another thing about going to a small school is half of my teachers either went to school with my parents, or where my parents teachers. So if I acted up, they didn't need to give me detention or the paddle (yes, we still had it up through the 6th grade), they could just tell my parents...which was far worse. I know they would have believed the teachers before any BS I tried to feed them.
  15. Dee was one of my IPs in tweets...great dude! RIP Brother
