  2. Ooooh a pilot making fun of a nav, that's new. SuperWSO, you should know by now some have egos that are very delicate and the slightest zing can make them very defensive and resort to "I'm a pilot, you're just a nav" tactics.

    Bounty Hunters

Should have been a first and second rd pick (2nd this yr, 1st next yr). I thought Payton would get at least 6 games. A full season I am fine with.
  4. I've always wanted to have a bar and name it "The 47 Section"
  5. I think I have told this story before, but back when I first went through KBAD as a young O1 a buddy and I went to a CGOC meeting not knowing anything about it. We thought everybody was doing it (sts). Anyway, we noticed we were the only flyers at the meeting and didn't think much of it. After the meeting as we were walking out, a LtCol (flyer) who happened to be in the building saw us coming out, made a direct b-line toward us and stated the following: "Gentlemen, unless you are going to CGOC meetings to nail some ass, I want you to stay the fuck away from the Nazi youth. They are doing everything in their power to put their AFSC and their career above yours. CGOC meetings are only a punchbowl of kool-aid away from being Jonestwown, stay the fuck away." Two things I have noticed from that CGOC publication: 1) somebody has WAY too much time on their hands. Is AFCGOC Chairman (which the title itself is enough to make one laugh) a full-time gig? I have no problem with the volunteering/giving part of the CGOC, that is commendable...but the way they go about everything is asinine. 2) There are a couple of hotties in that little newsletter. From the outside looking in, it is more than apparent that non-flyers are winning the "game." Shoes are starting to get into more powerful positions of influence and are spreading their poison to the CGOS who despite what the Air Force is all about, feel that their jobs should be the primary focus, when in fact in the grand scheme of things they support the operational missions. Stay strong dudes and dudettes.
  6. Careful...the Vikes are just about dumb enough to go after him. They have a long history of going after old broken down QBs. I am too young for Fran and barely remember good ol' drunken Tommy K, so I don't know what a genuine franchise QB looks like. But I wouth rather roll with Ponder than emptying the pockets for that media whore Manning.
  7. Were there any Navy recruiters waiting outside at the theater you guys were at? There must have been 6 or 7 handing out t-shirts, brochures, and posters after the movie was done. The Navy has always made fairly decent movies that they can use as recruiting tools over the past 25 or so years (starting with Top Gun). Loved the movie though, despite my time in the USAF, those dudes made me feel pretty insignificant.
  8. Good Ol' Balls 60 And then there is Christine...
  9. I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end...but it is kinda old school in a way. Don't get me wrong, a loadout of JDAM with a stick of 86s is always nice, but I like the using a sledgehammer to kill a fly approach.
  10. 45 M117s= My favorite loadout. Simple, but effective.
  11. Sounds like Felix's jump (Red Bull Stratos) is back on with a jump window opening up in July. Pretty amazing stuff. http://www.redbullstratos.com/
  12. Apparently FoxNews has a 4th grader doing their animation...check out the video at the link below. http://www.foxnews.com/world/2012/01/25/sources-us-raid-frees-american-and-dane-held-hostage-in-somalia/?test=latestnews
  13. right thread this time.... I am sure those of you "in the know" have better knowledge...but the Air Force fish wrap has an article out... http://www.airforcet...report-011112w/ Thoughts A-10 dudes?
  14. Cake eater... I have too, and it
  15. Agreed. Don't go to an apartment complex to sell a goldchain to someone from Craigslist.
  16. I don't think there is a thread like this...I searched but to no avail. I thought it would be cool to post good flying stories we come across here (or post your own). Anyway here is one from AF Times http://www.airforcet...vietnam-122611/ Best line ever: “We took off in jeans and cowboy boots without much else on us,” he said.
  17. Ha! This happened just up the road from me. It got just a little blown out of proportion here with the local media.
