Here’s a quick point worth asking/mentioning: Hypothetically, if Trump had directed ICBMs to be launched at X (name your country) on 19 Jan 21, would he have been wrong (in terms of not have the power/ability) to do so as the Commander in Chief? If Milley had discussions with other military officers to ensure this would not have been able to happen without his awareness and/or concurrence then would that not be considered insubordination and worthy of some form of action against him? Also what if Milley would have attempted to stop Trump’s order?

Well more people in the country today seem to care about football than what happened in Afghanistan…

If you want to fly U-2s, go be a T-6 IP. I know a couple 11Rs who got accepted to the U-2 after a T-6.
-
If you’re all about going to McGuire for family reasons then I wouldn’t be mentioning the U-2 at Beale. Stick with what you really want (especially for family reasons?), and then if that doesn’t work out then apply for Beale. Or just apply for the U-2 as soon as you can and if it doesn’t work then ask for McGuire. But wanting both tells me that the family desire isn’t really a top priority.

I’m still waiting for motorcycles to be banned…you know, for public safety.

Combat Rescue Helicopter…because only using the word “Rescue” would be a disservice.

Dude, the government literally has said that Pfizer offers more protection than JJ. So no, it’s not “the same”. Once again, you’re struggling with your counter arguments.
-
I’m literally asking this simple question that you still haven’t answered: If Pfizer is the only one that is currently FDA approved and is the most effective, then why now allow people to still choose? Why not just say anyone who hasn’t had the shot must get Pfizer, since it’s fully approved and offers the best protection?

IMO the state department in recent (ie last 20-30) years has always seemed to be more the progressive side of our international arm, whereas the military was more the conservative side. Now that the military is going more towards the progressive side as well, I imagine we’ll see more failures wrt our international interests.

You’re missing my question, and it’s a simple one: If only one vaccine is approved outside of emergency use, and if it’s more effective than the others, then why not just mandate that everyone gets the best one and the one that has final/full approval?
-
Here’s an honest question for the pro-big government types on here: Now that military members are being forced to take a covid shot (or risk the negative consequences if no approved waiver), why then isn’t the military mandating members take the Pfizer vaccine vs taking the Moderna or JJ? According to big-government, Pfizer is more effective than JJ, so why give someone the option of taking a less effective shot that isn’t even the one fully approved by the FDA? If the entire reason for the mandated vaccine is that it protects us, why wouldn’t the DoD want us to take the best one?

Care about your fellow Americans and follows orders! Come on now…they did this without a problem in the 1940’s! https://www.archives.gov/education/lessons/japanese-relocation#background

How dare people in the military support freedom!

Just curious as to what your threshold is for doing something similar to Scheller? Hopefully there’s a line somewhere with all of us…then again, maybe there’s not. “ In February 1942, just two months later, President Roosevelt, as commander-in-chief, issued Executive Order 9066 that resulted in the internment of Japanese Americans. The order authorized the Secretary of War and military commanders to evacuate all persons deemed a threat from the West Coast to internment camps, that the government called "relocation centers," further inland.” https://www.archives.gov/education/lessons/japanese-relocation#background

Strange how Biden claims he had to go forward with the “previous agreement” from the last administration…and yet at the same time has changed many other agreements/policies set by the last administration…it’s almost as if it’s all political, on both sides. But since Biden is in charge, Biden owns it since he could have went a number of different ways. This is coming from someone who supported the pullout, just not the horrible execution.

While I don’t disagree with you that a lot of people unfortunately vote/don’t for people based on things that shouldn’t matter…ie someone’s race or gender, let’s not pretend that the left won’t go after the right even if the person running is the skin color the left says they care about/want to see in office.. “Column: Larry Elder is the Black face of white supremacy. You’ve been warned” https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2021-08-20/recall-candidate-larry-elder-is-a-threat-to-black-californians

I think if 2020-2021 has taught me, or better yet, has “reassured me” one thing, is that most people in this country actually don’t want or love freedom. They’ll tell you they do, but then caveat with, “but…”. This is on the right and the left. ”Freedom for me, but not for thee”

Ok man, whatever you say lol… “This letter is signed by 1,288 public health professionals, infectious diseases professionals, and community stakeholders.” https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2020/06/05/health/health-care-open-letter-protests-coronavirus-trnd/index.html

I literally posted sources from not what I would call “far right” sources. Unless you now think the Times and Washington Post is junk?

You’re struggling here. You agreed that the “medical professionals” changed their medical opinions on covid risk because of their own personal opinions on whether a cause was worth the risk or not. Sorry, but that’s not sound medicine as ”medical professionals” have zero say on whether or not a cause is worthy of protests.
-
Thank you for agreeing with me.
-
Well if you solo an aircraft and/or get a “checkride” (that the FAA recognizes), then I think it’s safe to say you flew that aircraft even if no Form 8.
-
Yeah…I mean, who would believe Times or the Wash Post, since they cater to the progressive audience. Thanks for pointing that out!
-
I never mentioned Fauci, did I? I’m sure there are “medical professionals” that don’t include him, are there not? But here you go—too easy! Enjoy! https://abcnews.go.com/US/disagree-medical-professionals-counter-coronavirus-lockdown-protesters/story?id=70293830 https://time.com/5848212/doctors-supporting-protests/

If you were trying to provide a counter argument, resubmit and try again. My argument proves that “medical professionals” will change their medical opinions based on their own emotions towards a given subject. It’s a shame that this is true.
