Not even close. It’s not a witch hunt, there were some legit issues which leadership believed they were handling properly. The whole concept of making sure your boss is aware of things going on comes into play as well. The callsign issue was a smaller part of something bigger. No one was fired over that one thing, if you read my previous posts there is more to the story which will be release after the UCMJ actions take place and the CDI results are released. I believe the N is Normal taxi. Pretty sure said individual got lost taxiing on a solo at DLF. Also the naming didn’t occur with families present. The callsign was on a wall and a GO’s wife saw it. All snowball down hill from there. As for the firings, there’s a lot more to it than just this naming ceremony. Once again, the CDI results will shed some light on it all. Multiple events caused this. It’s sad to see what happened as the WG/CC is an amazing individual. He is truly one of the guys how loved taking care of his people and make XL a better place. There are a ton of people upset by his firing. As for the other two I can not speak too much on as my interaction wasn’t much. This completely. Also, some people like to buy cars, others tattoos. Some spend money on expensive phones or computers. Everyone has their vice. My is driving fun cars. So I’m going to enjoy my Life and drive the car I want so I can enjoy life a bit. With that said, it’s been numerous years since I have had a car payment and because I spent a little extra money I have a car which will probably drive another 15 years before the wheels fall off. I would argue that if I had cash for a car that money would work more effectively for me in an investment while I pay 1.49 or 2.9 percent interest on the car.
