F-15E Down in Libya
There's no such thing as keeping something like this quiet in the information age. All those dudes standing on the jet have cell phones with cameras.

AETC Restructuring affecting assignments...
Might have something to do with IFF closing at Vance and Laughlin.

Gun Talk
I was wrong about the can. He had the QDSS-NT4; he was bitching about it weighing 1.5 lbs total, not 1.5 lbs more. It was a pretty sweet setup overall. I shot a couple suppressed guns there. I really want one now. I really enjoyed the class and would recommend anyone who owns a gun to get some professional instruction, especially if you ever intend to use it for self defense. You owe it to yourself and those around you. Don't think that just because you've qualified on the M-9 a few times that you know anything about employing a pistol. I signed up for the 1911 class as soon as I got the email.

Gun Talk
Took a Vickers carbine class a few weeks ago with a dude shooting a KAC can. He bitched about how heavy it was compared to his AAC cans. Like 1.5 lbs heavier.

Multi-generations that flew the T-38
2 generations are a dime a dozen, but I've never heard of anyone who's grandpa flew T-38s.
- WTF? (**NSFW**)

I Hate Reflective Belts
I'm unfamiliar with the "sector" lever on an M-4 I also don't understand how it can be "all about muscle memory," "all about leadership," and "all about keeping your promise," all at the same time. 60% of the time it works every time.

Tyndall to Gain T-38 Detachment
Shouldn't be too hard to scrounge up 10 T-38's considering 2 out of the 5 IFF squadrons are closing. Maybe a few lucky Smurf drivers can move from the hinterlands to sunny Florida.

It was only a matter of time
I know 1 guy that escaped and made it back to the Viper. After his Tx course they recalled him to UAVs for 6 months but after that he was home free.

Bagram DFAC sets the fail bar
That's what you do at the bar anyway, right?

Wright-Patt Housing
You're right; fuck it! Everybody at WP should just post up their recall rosters so he can get an idea of all the really cool neighborhoods.

Wright-Patt Housing
Keep in mind the OPSEC consequences of detailing where concentrations of officers live when posting replies to this query.

For once I'm glad we don't have ADS-B
In a few years you'll look back and say, "Remember back when we didn't even have wi-fi while we were flying?"

Bagram DFAC sets the fail bar
I'm less disturbed by the F-10 than I am by the "beef gravy ice cream bar" they are serving for desSert.

Desert PT Testing
At least that kid is out doing something instead of whining about 15 minutes of effort twice a year.

Desert PT Testing
You're losing points because you are slow as fuck. Run faster, more. And I call bullshit on your ability to eat 1500 calories a day.

Desert PT Testing
I wish people would quit being such pussies about our pathetic PT test.

F-15 RAPTOR being sold to Saudi!
I only fought the Saudi's once. Their 4 Eagles were blue, and our 4 Vipers were red, 2 escort and 2 strikers. Strikers were Aim-9 only. The highlights: A) 2 Eagle dudes held hands in the brief B) They were supposed to defend their BX but aborted to about 10 miles behind their target, to the point that 4 completely left the airspace C) We bombed their BX D) 2 different dudes touched each other in the debrief
