Hits keep coming. Got a call from outgoing Sq/CC today notifying me I'm going to get moved to a "great opportunity" to work on a "new mission system," and that the dude they told me for 3 months is just the Interim Dir of Ops is going to stay in place and be the actual DO. He's "got the skill set they need." I had initially asked 3 months ago if this was the case because I had a blue falcon feeling. Sq/CC told me then it was not, that I was the DO "until I heard from him otherwise." So I guess he's not a liar. Asked if I had any concerns. I told him I'd vectored my Command DT input as me already being in a DO position since that's what the 1-star who got me the job advised me to put. Along with my OPR saying DO selection "spot on" (or whatever) and now if I'm not going to be a DO how's that going to impact my career? Since I'll now not get the DO stamp on time, when I was identified as a early year-group candidate...what's the impact? He was quiet and said he'd have to talk to everyone who made the decision about it. Since they didn't think about that before. I hit 20 yrs in Feb 19, ADSC up Nov 19.

I don't mind the CC spots, and even 1Sgt spots--doubly so in front of the buildings they work out. It's the rest of the spots (5 GO , 3 Col , 3 CMSgt, 3 GS-XX) that were in front of the commissary, BX, gym that annoy the crap outta me.

I've been spending some time at Hurlburt AFB. I haven't noticed one reserved spot for leadership at BX/Commissary/other only pregnant, purple heart and gold star. I think there's was a Lt and E4 and below spot. I'd like to say it didn't make me feel any different, it's just a parking spot...but it did. Especially coming from San Antonio area w/ there myraids of reserved parking (GS-15? GTFOH) and Offutt (which I still love) and the GO/Col/GS-15/CMSgt parking.

I've pinged my leadership every time something got changed. All of them welcomed it and I got insight into the writing process. This included going to the Group/CC when he changed stuff and resulted in me getting an amazing job opportunity. Fight for what you want.

Only an LOC and grade determination for a years long unprofessional relationship with zero remorse? That is insanity.

Son of a... DOD certs aren't trusted by the browser vendors natively. You have to import then on your own. Does it show which certs are being denied?

Well I got the word from my old boss, which is interesting since I left that org over a month ago. EDIT - New boss called t0o. This was the final requirement for "retiring happy." It's all gravy from here.

I think someone tweeted it at him, and he thought it sounded cool. So...here we are. I'm sure it won't hamper our attempts to increase highly contested cyber capabilities/environments at all...
