COVID-19 (Aka China Virus)
It was inevitable once enough data had been collected on the vaccine to demonstrate its safety.

Is it time in returning to the old days of UPT?
We've already entered a single aircraft UPT world right now with UPT 2.5 By 2025 all the T-1s will (might) be retired and it doesn't seem like the money is there to buy enough T-7s to replace the T-38 in UPT. But if money it no object, I'd prefer UPT maintain a dual track pipeline where future fighter pilots can work on fighter pilot stuff and mobility pilots can practice copying ATIS.

Extremism in the U.S. Military
From the article, for those who just read the headline: Austin said the Defense Department will achieve this by: Enhancing current initiatives to push back against foreign governments’ efforts to make being LGBTQI+ a crime Initiating or supporting initiatives to tackle “discrimination, homophobia, transphobia, and intolerance on the basis of LGBTQI+ status or conduct” Widening current efforts to make sure the department regularly engages “with governments, citizens, civil society, and the private sector” to advocate for the LGBTQI+ population’s human rights and tackle discrimination Taking the potential impacts of DOD-funded programs on the human rights of all people (including the LGBTQI+ community) into account when deciding what to spend Pentagon funds on

Air Force Looking Into Pilot Training Changes To Curb Accidents
I don’t remember the specifics of the eSSS I saw. Maybe that was an aspect I missed and it’s still possible.

I dunno. Most Americans still probably don’t know that Biden has a stutter and just think he’s stoopid.

We need a better union.- Promotion and PRF Information
It will definitely get you a P on the PRF which is a 50/50 shot. I’m exhibit A. Luck of a coin flip I guess.- Air Force Looking Into Pilot Training Changes To Curb Accidents
I wonder if the TSO its certification was based on was rescinded by the FAA because it’s been superseded or something? Just guessing, but the AF would probably have to pursue a non-compliance waiver or upgrade the GPS unit in the T-6.- More Uniform Changes!
Won't affect me none, but these look way more comfortable than the current iteration.- Commanders are dropping like flies this year
https://www.enidnews.com/news/local_news/concerns-about-danielson-raised-in-last-30-days/article_96aea666-7bae-11eb-a657-d302caa452a0.html VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. — Concerns about the former commander of the 71st Flying Training Wing at Vance Air Force Base were raised “within the last 30 days” before he was relieved of command last week. Col. Timothy Danielson has been reassigned to a staff position within the Air Force, said Marilyn C. Holliday, chief of operations for Air Education and Training Command public affairs, in an email. Danielson was in charge of the 71st FTW at Vance for about eight months. “Leaders at 19th Air Force became aware of the concerns through the chain of command, within the last 30 days,” Holliday said in an emailed statement. “The former commander is not suspected of misconduct or illegal actions. This decision was based on the loss of trust and confidence in the commander’s ability to lead the 71st Flying Training Wing.”- Air Force Looking Into Pilot Training Changes To Curb Accidents
You're right. Luke has been way ahead of the AF on this for awhile. But, seriously, only Luke. This is finally spreading to the rest of the AF, starting at UPT bases. You know, sell the kid a dime bag of professional fitness management, study tutoring, etc at UPT and they'll expect the follow on bases to keep selling....- Air Force Looking Into Pilot Training Changes To Curb Accidents
This if probably fine for fighter-types, but the T-6 is a lousy instrument trainer. Especially right now that it's not certified for RNAV. I mean, you could get a better instrument trainer by downloading MS Flight Simulator. Edit to add: an ACE type program with any aircraft would be great for overall airmanship, I recognize.- Aviation Continuation Pay (ACP - The Bonus)
Spoiler: Airlines gonna rebound this year!- The Congressman is back yo
Keep it up man.- Air Force Looking Into Pilot Training Changes To Curb Accidents
Like what? The gym? Specifically designed for pilots and off limits to the rest of the base? With a professional fitness trainer? That doesn’t seem bad to me.- The Congressman is back yo
