People may get into it for altruistic reasons, but it doesn’t take long for most to be captivated by the attention, the feeling of power, “being someone important,” etc. Phase 1 - I’m here to make good changes and clean this mess up! Phase 2 - I like this attention and power Phase 3 - Do what I can to enrich myself and close allies while pretending I’m “just a regular Joe like all of you [suckers]!”

Coincidently, I met one of the guys leading the charge for this, on Wednesday in Vegas at the ICAS convention. He sounded very optimistic at how things are progressing, and I sure hope they can pull this off.

I know not the Congresscritter this thread was started for but… Ole Crenshaw started a fight with Shawn Ryan that might not go very well for him. I’ll be interested in how this plays out.
