  1. Probably from a tanker when it was flying.
  2. We don't really have the gas to get outside of visual range of the airport so it's not an issue.

Down here in Texas we have a little saying for those who want to try and take our firepower away... And while a bunch of pussy liberal states try to pass ridiculous regulations concerning an inalienable right under the Constitution, today in Texas lawmakers are proposing legislation to expand gun rights in the state! In the immortal words of Davy Crockett, "Y'all can go to hell, I'm going to Texas!"
  4. About 2-3 months ago in the AOR.
  5. All your questions have to do with pulling out (sts) retirement money to fund a down payment. Sure, you can do it if you want, but it is not a good idea. Why are you not looking at a VA loan? You don't need a down payment. The funding fee is rather small. There are even places that will pay a large part of your fees just so they can get your business... Don't throw away long term investment money to make a down payment.

AR-15 is so scary looking that it stops home invasion with no shots fired.
  7. This is not about women being in the SEALs or SF, this is about female officers checking an infantry box and making rank.
  8. A 1288 endorsed by a hiring unit is not required until after your PC is approved, however it does go a long way in the Palace Chase approval process. After your Wg/CC signs your 1288 it can be packaged for AFPC. 11M, OTS 03, pilot training 04-10, approved summer 2012, PC'd in Oct 12
  9. I can tell you that the HH-60 is a silly aircraft, and we're pretty silly, and you won't ever get shot at when you fly it. Don't worry about your "path" to your eventual guard gig. The current DO of the Alaska guard is prior A-10 pilot, focus on the near rocks.

"I read somewhere their periods attract bears. Bears can smell the menstruation." "Well, that's just great. You hear that, Panetta? Bears. Now you're putting the whole military in jeopardy."
  11. My bad. Our senior military leaders and politicians would never lead us down the wrong path.
  12. Nice deflection. I wasnt commenting on anything but your liberal, pansy ass, unrealistic views.
  13. You guys are acting like common sense will have something to do with the basing decision.

It is this line that I hate more than anything else. Everybody wants me and some tens of millions of law-abiding gun owners to "be reasonable." To compromise just a little bit. If I am not vilified outright, I am subjected to such polite condescension that I want to puke (no cute emoticon for you!). I did nothing wrong. Being "reasonable" means I have to alter my behavior to suit yours, or someone like you, opinion. I want you and others like you to be reasonable and leave me the hell alone. Your, and others like you, way means I have to change. I have to compromise. I have to give up a part of a fundamental right as an American so I can be thought of as "reasonable." My way means you, and others like, you don't have to do anything. To anyone. At anytime. Which way is more reasonable?

A brand new MC-130J (Pictured here), is about to be delivered to AFSOC, it will spend some time being modified into the lastest version of the AC-130. Love my job.
