I wonder what the actual difference in the washout rates were. I'm not saying you are right or wrong, but I would be curious to see. My guess is that washout rates would depend on when we were looking at too, and which base etc. It would probably be hard to know what the true difference is.

Here are the historical UPT washout rates. The 'entries' and 'grads' columns refer specifically to USAFA graduates, not the total number of SUPT students.
