March 18Mar 18 Talk about butt hurt...Several Adams County sheriff's deputies are suing "AFROMAN" claiming they were needlessly harmed by music videos, most notably "Lemon Pound Cake" which included security camera footage taken in 2022 when they served a search warrant looking for drugs at the performer's home. None were found and charges were never filed. Now the fat deputy is upset because AFROMAN made a music video and which caught the deputy eyeballing a lemon pound cake made by AFROMAN's mom. This officer actually cried on the stand citing embarrassment.Epic suit for court.

March 26Mar 26 Imagine getting a knock at the door and being told you're under arrest for a crime committed states away. Can't get bail because you're fighting extradition. Spend 4 months in jail in your home state, then get flown to North Dakota and spend a couple months more in jail only to find out the only evidence is that you kinda look like the suspect on video that software matched with your likeness. Then when you're finally released, it's winter in North Dakota and you have no funds to get home.....Loads of taxpayer dollars pissed away even prior to the lawsuit which will cost the taxpayer millions more.Madness Edited March 26Mar 26 by uhhello

These mouth breathers think since a phone/app identified someone then it's right 100% of the time.

Thats the issue with these dudes, they can be ignorant of the law, make an unlawful arrest and just say whoopsie. Army dude or joe civilian has to deal with getting out of jail (money/time), find a lawyer (money/time), deal with the court system (money/time), and hope sanity prevails.

When you see cops resign and leave after a legislation change like that, you know they were the shitty cops.

This is the absolute most un-American thing that is somehow enshrined in American law. I totally get and would support a similar concept IF it were after appropriate due process and the person found guilty, much like what happens to people's trucks and guns after they get caught AND convicted of poaching. But to put the burden of proof on the citizen is completely upside-down and the fact that it hasn't been struck down only proves how far removed the Supreme Court is from actually reading the Constitution and doing it's job. With the qualified immunity removal in some states, legislators that passed that need pass a law to hold themselves to the same standard. If they pass a law that would would meet a similar threshold of 'obviously illegal' (like Colorado's ban on verbal only counseling to help a teenager wondering if they should actually be the other gender that got struck down 8-1), they need to be tried and convicted of violating their constituents' rights. A good starting point would be an identical punishment to what a law abiding citizen would have gotten under their unconstitutional law.
