March 24, 20169 yr Quibling, but yeah, NNEMP is a viable strategy. "Examples of such operations include the destruction of electronic control systems critical to the operation of many ground vehicles and aircraft." March 31, 20169 yr Selection PSDM 16-25 is up on MyPers. https://gum-crm.csd.disa.mil/app/answers/detail/a_id/30767 Congrats to the selects!
April 1, 20169 yr I feel bad for the selects...they are going to Altus and will get thrown in the KC-135 FTU...and they will probably never touch the -46.

April 1, 20169 yr Why is this so damn complicated to get it certified? I once refueled from an Italian 767 tanker with boom and drougue......WTF USAF? Stop being a shitshow, build the damn thing, we'll figure out how to get gas from it, it's not rocket science.
April 1, 20169 yr We've built so many military and civilian bureaucratic hoops that no one can navigate them.

Stop being a shitshow, build the damn thing, we'll figure out how to get gas from it, it's not rocket science. It is clearly a Boeing problem on a firm fixed priced contract; It is in Boeing's best interest to get it built. It is not a question of certifying it, it hasn't even passed milestone C. If it can't pass gas, what's the point in buying it? I think the Italian version took a decade to enter service... We're only 5 years in! And it took 4 years just to get it to fly. Did you do an exchange with the Italians?
