Guest trouble t Posted February 14, 2010 Share Posted February 14, 2010 Anyone with AFPC or UPT assignment insight know what's going on with all the Herks dropping to T-1 classes? Can we expect it to continue throughout the fiscal year? Indefinitely? Also, seems like all the AFSOC planes are still going to Corpus, but lots of AMC and ACC Herks for the recent Toners. ? Swizzle Posted February 15, 2010 Share Posted February 15, 2010 Perhaps Corpus is at capacity? I've heard LR is boosting output CY 10. I know the C-130J needs more people as a new, growing community. The TC-12 squadron is (allegedly) closing sometime in the next few years, and the Navy apparently told the Air Force it wouldn't be able to handle the same amount of AF students coming through the pipeline. Now people are getting U-28's, MC-12's, UAV's, NSA etc. on top of the herks, whereas it used to just be herks.
