  1. I'm confused about the email we got as part of that 100% of officers going on the vml... Why would you put in the comments that you have a pending vsp or PC app highlighting yourself as "not on the team" on your assignment preferences worksheet?

  2. Anybody have trouble accessing AFPC secure apps and vMPF on Moralenet at their "disclosed" location? It worked fine at home, but I haven't been able to get the page to load since I've been out here. Portal and webmail work fine.

11R, 2008, ADSC (obviously), still at BPO/Voluntary Sep Office

You know nothing will happen til after the 1st with your app... Just use the nipr at work. I never had an issue

  3. And us TERA guys get F%CKED again!!!! The waiver matrix says updated 15 Apr. THE VERY DAY TERA OPENED UP!

Not sure if you understand how retirement works, but you have to check eligibility first. I applied first thing on the 15th only to be told it will take 10 business days to determine my eligibility under TERA. If eligible, then you can actually apply.

Now that the matrix went red for my yr group......

Applied on day one for the 1st round of TERA only to be told "no" due to ACP....then they change the rules...AFTER the TERA window closed! Then all the VSP guys get to play under the new rules while we TERA guys get hosed!

I'm so happy for those that got VSP, I just think we TERA guys "took one for the team!"

So disappointed in how the AF played this game.

Same thing happening to vsp guys...applied day 1...denied for UPT ADSC then they push out waivers and tell us to reapply

  4. It makes a lot of sense to have another VSP window open from 22 May to 30 June then. It says the second window is specifically for those who previously had unwaiverable ADSCs or were deployed. Maybe their 300 number is correct and they're enticing more people from 04-08 year groups to apply to hit the required numbers.

please let this be the case and please approve all 04-08s that have applied

  5. PC approved!! I applied under traditional PC March 12th and switched to FY 14 PC on April 2nd after the UPT ADSC waiver authority was delegated. After talking to the guy in the PC office, it sounds like a pretty painless approval process if you have a position number. Good luck!

    ADSC through 10 Aug 2016

woah, so well under the 2 months....how did you get it through so fast? Congrats. I'm still holding out for 2 weeks for VSP before i put my PC app in. Have a position number already at a gaining unit....did they guy you talked to talk about length of ADSC approvals? I'm an 08 11M/R. have seen guys with up to 5 years approved so far. I'm going to be asking for 5 yrs and 5 months.

  6. I'm happy for all the VSP approved folks, so don't take this the wrong way, but...

When the new ADSC waiver table was posted, they should've paused everything and made everyone that had submitted VSP paperwork fall under the previous waiver criteria. Again, I'm glad people are getting good news. BUT I'm gonna be super pissed if my yr/AFSC goes red because new ADSC waivers are getting approved on the VSP side preventing me from re-applying for TERA under those same new rules.

Totally blows they post new ADSC waiver criteria after TERA closed giving us no options to-reapply while VSPs are getting processed and approved against the new waiver table. Thus, potentially reducing or eliminating our yr/AFSC while us TERA guys sit on the sidelines and watch.

same boat as those of us that applied for VSP in the first few minutes and were denied for UPT ADSC causing us to resubmit...it is what it is, sucks but really nothing we can do about it.

  7. CMS (through vMPF)

    CMS (through vMPF)

I think they are the same. It will say something like "referred to af vsp office" or something like that in cms, but when you click view my application under voluntary separation it will say "referred to bpo"....others can chime in here, but that has been what people are reporting so far during this debacle.

  8. -- ADSC waivers will be reviewed and/or approved based on new guidance giving AFPC waiver authority for UPT training, advanced flying training, etc. This impacts our U-2 and MC-12 rated community who can now apply for TERA/VSP due to changes in ADSC waivers (attch 1)

I'm confused. How are the U2 and MC12 different than any other community when it comes to ADSC waivers?

  9. Gotcha. I didn't know all those options were always there, but I did know that you had to click on voluntary separation to see your application. Now when I click on it, nothing happens, it just refreshes the page. So either it is a glitch with the page, or perhaps they pull that option of reviewing/changing your application after it is processed.

I've had the same issue. The only way I have gotten the 'voluntary separation' pop up to work is in IE. I've had no luck in Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.

  10. Looking at my CMS just now, it doesn't look like anything has changed...still at BPO or whatever.

However, I no longer have the option to see my application under the separations sections of vMPF. I go to "self service actions" and then "separations" and then there are the following options to click on: DD Form 214 worksheet, initial separation worksheet, officer voluntary separation tutorial, voluntary separation, and pre-separation order worksheet.

I may be taking crazy pills but I do not recall seeing all of these options before, especially the DD form 214 and the initial separation worksheet. Also, now when I click on the voluntary separation option it doesn't do anything (which I think that was how I used to get to my submitted application).

Anyone on VMPF see something similar?

    2006, C-17, K11M3K, 4 years ADSC

those options were always there. you have to click on voluntary separation in order to be able to see your application
