Woke-related: the meltdown from the progressives over Elon’s twitter acquisition is nothing short of hilarious, but also still shocking how incredibly delusional so many people are.

One gem of a tweet: “Nearly every American media institution is now openly right-wing”. That is some next-level delusion/ignorance.

When you are so far left, nearly everything is now far right. Close family member hates Biden and Kamala, not for the reasons you would think. It’s because they aren’t liberal enough.

As much as I enjoy watching the karma of this spoiled anthem kneeling brat get prison time in Russia; I don’t believe her crime deserves 9 years in prison…Russia is doing this to embarrass the United States and is free to do so with our weak leadership that couldn’t even negotiate on her behalf.

Any bets on how many races get put into the "they cheated" category after the election for the next two years until complaining can resume about cheating in the presidential election again?  My guess is about 5.

Not quite sure but I’ll put money down on Stacey Abrams refusing to concede the second time she gets beaten by Kemp, citing some nonsense about voter suppression. She will get another book deal since for some reason the left loves to idolize losers (Beto), and Stacey will never go away.

It’s been a while since I’ve said this but I blame fingers Goldfien for all of this.

2016 wasn’t the best time to take command as CSAF. We were on the tail end of the Obama Admin gutting of the military and the effects of sequestration all while cleaning up the messes of the Arab Spring. It was also about the time where the floodgates opened to the airlines and senior leaders changed their tone from “stop whining we can replace you” (words from a former AETC commander to an SOS class in 2015) to “oh shit we got to fix retention.”

No fucking way 80 million people voted for this empty suit.

Most of them didn’t vote “for him”, but rather “against Trump.” Trump’s administration did some amazing things…most on the left couldn’t get around his personality and antics. Call it TDS, call it a too politically correct society, etc, but his personality did get in the way of the great ideas he did have.

The product being produced today is noticeably worse than 5 years ago. The cuts to syllabus flying times have been substantial.

no student needs to be PAing an already reduced flying hour syllabus.

the written in stone argument is one you made up. Not sure where that came from.

And that discrepancy is being offloaded to line IPs in the Ops Squadrons, wasting time on basics instead of prepping Copilots or Wingmen for deployments and advanced missions. To exacerbate things, all the grey beard IPs we used to have are all gone and are happily sipping Mai Thais on their layovers in Hong Kong. Our IP corps is younger and leaner.

Cherry on top is all the senior ACs we had to send back to be UPT instructors.

VEOs on a continent as large and diverse as Africa are going to exist. TBH I’m a fan of relatively minimal force being used in order to support friendly governments and “mow the grass” when it comes to the very worst guys. Otherwise these dudes don’t pose that great of a threat to the US and I don’t think we should spend a ton of brain bites opposing them.

Over-the-horizon intel collect with very occasional strikes or raids is not a bad strategy for an AOR that’s at absolute maximum 4th in importance right now.

Continued economic development in Africa is the biggest thing that would move the needle toward relative peace and stability - let’s facilitate that whenever possible.

Over the horizon was not working though. It was a 4 star level visibility event anytime a C-130 landed in Somalia between Jan 21 and Summer 2022. The episodic support simply wasn’t a viable strategy.

I’m not saying we should build a Djibouti like base in Somalia, but we should either commit or get out of that shit hole.

Serious question…are all white people the same? If so, I understand the argument for selectively recruiting non-whites. Last I checked, though, we all have our own DIVERSE life experiences prior to service. If there are illegitimate barriers to entry into military service, we should get rid of them. Arbitrarily discriminating based on race or gender (yes, I went there…there’s only 2 and it was assigned way prior to birth) is bullshit. Saying that all white people are the same is just as much bullshit.

I’ve been flabbergasted with the racist comments the DEI crowd in the military has been able to get away with the last few years.  The most racist people I’ve met are far from white. God help you if you are a White Male in the military.

For years folks have warned about the spread of VEOs to Africa, a historically under-resourced AOR.  Our haphazard withdrawal from Afghanistan appears to have emboldened these folks to grow their influence.  We have added forces but the administration promised us they would be able to handle this with an "over the horizon" strategy which appears to be failing miserably.

The U.S. Is Losing Yet Another ‘War on Terror’

It is the Rolling Stone so as usual take with a grain of salt.  However, those of us who deployed and operated there will see the indicators of a growing problem that WILL manifest itself in the near future.

This one hits close to home. AFRICOM is the red headed step child for the Joint Staff. Practically no assigned forces, they must always borrow forces from EUCOM or CENTCOM. The rotational forces are under resourced and no one gives a shit. It doesn’t help that we withdrew all forces out of Somalia at the end of Trump’s presidency, failed at over the horizon support, and now are moving back into Somalia with a yet to be clear strategy.

This goes beyond the VEO arguement, the Chinese have encroached into Djibouti and Kenya, they even have military bases in those countries.

I’m not sure what the right answer is, but we either need to commit or “let them have their desert”.

No way he makes it to 2024. He will excuse himself from running for “health reasons”, he will go down as a folk hero for the dems as the dude who ousted Trump.  Kamala will step aside citing reasons such as “racism and sexism” keeping her from doing her job, she will save face and go down another idol for the progressive and left.  In comes Mayor Pete.  Problem solved.

Being purposely sent to the Rockies Mountains, in the upcoming winter months, after entering the U.S., by people knowing that support services are lacking in that area is inhumane. Those people crammed under a bridge in Del Rio did so by their own accord trying to enter the U.S., thus exposing themselves to any risks for doing so.

I personally think if people are wanting to immigrate to the U.S., and aren’t on a student or work visa, can wait outside the U.S. until their application is processed and they’re issued a visa. Instead of right and left using this as political fodder for votes, both Dems and GOP need to put pressure on the Biden Administration for immigration reform (i.e., keeping Title 42 in place until they figure it out).

And while sleepy Biden and his affirmative action Vice President fail in this line of effort…we should move migrants to so called “sanctuary cities” should we not?

Biden and the Prop Up Machine will play the 5 D's of debate defense, Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive, Dodge.  Any of the other D's running, all they have to do is call him chicken, and I hope other D's try as the nation deserves a better D candidate (I know, careful what I wish for).  IF Biden gets the nom, then I fully expect Biden to be called chicken, scare-d-cat, yellow, coward, runs from a fight, spineless, etc.  How can he face a world leader if he can't face a Pres challenger?  Then there will be a full court press on his health.  Biden is one trip and fall away from leaving office.

And then all Biden’s opponent has to do is play on repeat videos of Afghans falling off a C-17.  If America re-elects Biden after that….we’ll as they say, we get the government we deserve.

My future prediction: Assuming Biden wins the primaries and runs for a second term (yes, big assumption...but I think also a realistic COA right now) I highly doubt Biden will show up for any debates. There will be some magical reason for him to not attend, or rather, debates will get labeled whatever new buzz word that will provide the needed opportunity for the DNC to skip all debates.

That’s exactly what’s going on in the New York Governor race. Incumbent Dem Governor refuses to debate her opponent Zeldin.  Now, Zeldin has closed the gap within margin of error.

Hollywood does this intentionally. The Hollywood elites couldn’t care less about “representation” or “equity”, they know replacing minorities with previously non-minority roles (Little Mermaid, etc) will elicit a response from conservatives, reasonable ones like I see in this forum. Then, the left can say “See how racist and bigoted the conservatives are!?!”

It’s the same advantage to nominate minorities for cabinet positions, even the VP. You dare criticize the first female half black half Indian Vice President? Well you must be a racist.

This is literally how many of the left think today and it’s very concerning. You even see it bleeding into the military. If you’re a female or minority and didn’t get the strat, job push you wanted? Just accuse your leadership of sexism / racism and you’d be far how that ball will carry these days.

More of that you can't be racist if you're black nonsense.   She is the problem.   I like her shirt referencing her ancestors as well.  I'm sure they are proud of her work to take credit for their (her ancestors') suffering. Couldn't be more of a c u n t.  Someone decided that this lady is good for the military.   She is saying things a drunk Klan member would say about minorities.  But she's not racist because she's black.   Lol.   She's a Black Klansman.

Where are my woke airmen (airlings for the woke) at? Please explain this lady to me.  What excuse can you give me as to why she's right?

She was hired by the Affirmative Action Presidency, what more do you expect?

I've already given all of my assets and savings ($47.36) to support the victims.  But only white victims.   How does that sound?   Racist?  Yes, because it is.  Now change the color to anything but white.  Is that racist?  Not according to our dear "leaders".

Had a 0-4 African American Major (pilot, and going places) tell me African Americans cannot be racist. He claimed racism by definition could only be employed by the more powerful and less victimized race.

I laughed but the thought of that happening is terrifying. Based on Brandon/Austin/Miley’s handling of Afghanistan, I have zero confidence that things would go well for us in a blunt and escalatory conflict. The fact that Austin and Milley haven’t resigned is an embarrassment.

The H model has become a dump can. 1950s technology with at the most 1970s avionics. It is way passed its prime. The Air Force has got to stop prolonging these aircraft to the point of failure. Same for the B-1s, KC-135s, Buffs, etc.

Hard to listen to the CSAF lecture about accelerate change or lose when our Air Force Life Cycle Management is utter trash.
