American combat deaths and causalities post WWII shouldn't be glossed over and written off. what did the men who died in vietnam really die for? what did the men and women who died in afghanistan and iraq die for? as a participant in the armed forces i'd hope you would have a little more empathy for your fellow servicemen who are sent into the battle.
