  1. Yeah, there is a MASS cutoff as 1-2 had -38s #1, but went Tones. There was also one helo. The FAC is still done in phase 1, but for no real purpose. It is not a go/no-go. We do it in Phase 3 if we go -38s, but it still doesn't really matter. "Do whatever weight you can do for as many reps as you want."
  2. With the latest budget calling for more F-35s, could we see them dropping out of UPT again?
  3. Currently a stud. I highly doubt that matters at all, but even if it did there is nothing you could do to control it. What you can do is crush UPT, study hard, decompress (party) on the weekends and have a great attitude. The chips (timing, luck, needs of the AF) will fall wherever they may, but control what you can. Oh, and trim.
  4. Holy sh!t. Over 10 years; that's one hell of an achievement.
  5. I know a lot of the Viper units do it, but do A-10 ANG/AFRC units do the TFI thing for AD bubbas?
  6. XL 18-02 Track 7 T-38 (1 International) 1 TH-1H 12 T-1
  7. These terms are relative. It's been about 5-6 tracks and there hasn't been talk of it again. The track select sheets don't have it as an option anymore
  8. Hasn't happened in a while and probably won't again for the foreseeable future.
  9. Magnum, While I agree with what you're saying, that kind of thinking is dangerous... You're dangerous.
  10. Thanks. All I was able to find was a few years old and there aren't a lot of 60 guys I've ran into at training so far. There isn't a great deal of current info on the interwebz either.
  11. Revival. Is Phase 3 at Rucker approximately the same timeline as UPT? 6-ish months? And are assignments dealt out the same way as UPT drops? Weight of preference based on MASS and AF needs?
  12. Yes. DLF has washed forward a couple into Phase 3 (38s only, I believe) since they were T-6 complete very early. Newer classes are doing hybrid form/instruments after final contact at DLF foregoing XCs for Out & Backs.
  13. 10/10 can confirm.... bacon/jalapeno is what dreams are made of. I think we have the most-frequented flight room. Good and bad thing, I suppose.
  14. Your numbers on your application have little (to absolutely zero) sway over what you'll end up flying. Your performance in UPT determines where you rack and stack among your classmates and decides how much preference you have over your assignment. Overall, it's the needs of the Air Force, timing and luck.
  15. I applied pilot-only for the 15OT03 board and was selected.
