The shooter had a 7 round clip. He shot 5 rounds into the head of the guy who fired him from his job as a women's fashion accessories designer one year ago. They found the remaining two rounds still in the weapon after he was killed. He then walked away from the scene of that murder and a witness alerted two police officers of the murder. The police officers followed him to the Empire State Building. He turned around to face them with a gun in his hand. Between the two officers, 16 shots were fired. According to reports, 7 hit the shooter. Each of the other 9 bullets hit bystanders (non-lethal). Some may have been ricochet's. Again, this was in a "gun free" zone like most shootings where more than one person was shot. The difference here is you have two police officers that caused most of the damage. Of course, the media is trying to spin this as an active shooter situation, but really it's just a revenge hit. After all, the shooter only put his bullets in his target.

When I was there, we drove a minivan (I know) and a German spec Mercedes from the lemon lot. The Merc was incredibly fun to drive on the autobahn. The minivan was the real win though. We got a much bigger gas ration since it fit the minivan/suv/truck categoty, but the gas mileage on it was much better than the suv's and trucks. Because of this, we were able to travel all over within the rationed gas and never ran out. I was also able to empty out all the back seats and use it like I would a truck. Overall, it worked well and fit on the roads/parking spaces.

Shot one. Didn't like it or buy it. It wasn't very accurate or reliable. Many FTL/FTF. Bought a Browning Buckmark and didn't look back. I also really like my Ruger Mk 1 for full frame 22 shooting. The browning is far more accurate, but I like tool-less strip/clean on the ruger better for carry use.

I don't mind what we have too much as I've never known different. I just wish it was available from a real suit maker and in a good cut of wool (not polyester blend). That's one place I think the Navy really got it right.

Another one. I can't find any articles on the internets yet, but the local news just reported on another attempted shooting, this time in New Mexico. The news story said that the volunteer fire chief of Velarde, NM (40 miles N of Santa Fe) showed up to a meeting of firefighters today wearing body armor and carrying an assault rifle. They said he allegedly pulled out a pistol and pointed it at the group. They charged him and he ran away. Police are still trying to track him down, armed and dangerous.
