Blues on Monday
It's a classic case of one person shits their pants and everyone has to wear diapers. Leadership feels that the responsibility of anything going wrong falls on their shoulders, and to make sure that nothing happens on their watch, they tighten the reigns. Ultimately, students are treated like children. That attitude is picked up and accepted by everyone else, and you end up where we are today.

Great lesser known flying movies...
2/10 on imdb, but after reading this review, I'm sold.

War anyone?
All this happened with "In the Navy" by the Village People blaring in the background. Yeah, and you thought it was just the US Navy that was like that.

Classic Thread - Blues pants w/ civilian attire?
You think he should go with brown shoes? I think he should just wear the black ones, but with a regular belt. The uniform belt is uniquely military, and might give him away.

An interestingly PRO-firearms article from a BRITISH newspaper: https://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment/c...icle2409817.ece- Proud of America
Thanks for sharing that article.- New Blade (Wing?) Design
I don't ever see this being used on a fighter, at least not one that goes past Mach 1. Water does flow like air, except with a much higher Reynolds number and less compressibility. The principles are the same though.- Article: Apparently the JSF doesn't suck...
If there is ANYONE who knows what they're talking about on this subject, its Pierre Sprey.- C-12's @ Elmo

Just two more games left for Boston in the post season.- World Series
That's my excuse. It was more of an optimistic hope than a realistic prediction. I stand by it though. The Angels are coming back to put those smelly bean-towners in their place.- World Series
Any baseball fans out there? The division series games so far have been surprising to say the least. The Cubs, Brewers, and White Sox are all choking harder than Mama Cass on a ham sandwich. It's been fun to see all the bandwagon Cubs fans on their sinking ship. Anyways here are my picks: (I know, I know. It's a little late to start a predictions thread after the 2 games, but better late than never.) Divisional Series: Rays over White Sox Angels over BoSox Dodgers over Cubs Phillies over Brewers League Championship Series Angels over Rays Dodgers over Phillies World Series: Angels over Dodgers in 6 games- Wynne Speaks Out
A good read, thanks for posting.- Cyber Wings
- ROTC Scholarship information
Pick a major that you think you'll enjoy. Don't pick one just to try and get a Type I scholarship. I received a Type II with Physics as my major (later changed to Aero Engineering, though). I don't know how it is at the school you're wanting to go to, but if a cadet at my school had any type of ROTC scholarship, even if it didn't cover full tuition, the school would pick up the rest of the tab. BL: Pick a major you'll enjoy. If you pick something like EE, then end up hating it and wanting to change, you might not be able to without losing your scholarship. - Gun Talk
