F-35 Lightning info
Essentially the hydraulic fluid that was used to service the struts was about 1/4 water. The dumbest of the dumb are put in charge of the tool crib which is normally responsible for the HAZMAT program that monitors the oil and hydro carts and barrels. One of the first times I've seen the direct result of putting your problem kids in the tool crib.

This just in. Politicians are egotistical malcontents! I don't care at this point. Give me policies that move this country forward. Border is shut down (without congressional intervention for the most part) and our foreign policy so far is exceeding what I expected. Jury is out on the Trump economy approach but better than status quo.

I'll never go back to irons on any weapon but you're 100% correct in that losing the dot is a very real thing and takes lots and lots of dry draw/fire to get the hang of it.

Mass ANG Rear Seat Ground Ejection
Usually. I've personally seen folks TDY show up to ops, get a flightsuit and equipment fitting then step to the aircraft. This was many moons ago also. In my personal experience, I didn't receive any training. Not saying it happens for every flight, just that it happens.

Mass ANG Rear Seat Ground Ejection
I helped strap in many a incentive rider in the D model and was very surprised at the little amount of seat briefing that was given by the various pilots. I got a ride a few years in and dude just said hey you're a crew chief, you know the drill 🙂

Mid-Air Collision in DC
Baro alt variations amongst the fleet in that airspace is very interesting. This accident was going to happen no matter who was piloting at some point if it was allowed to continue.

Reasons to despise cops
I'd be fine with cameras if there is no private money involved. It always goes wrong when it's for profit. Everywhere its been tried. The UK has been at it for decades. Last time I left they had placed average speed cameras on the motorways. Plate is logged going through checkpoints. If you make it through in less time than standard, you were speeding at some point. The mobile units were the most effective at generating revenue though. They'd pop up and generate a couple hundred tickets in the span of a few hours. I just looked and its estimated that the UK has 7,000+ traffic enforcement cameras. A giant chunk of those aren't operational and they still get people to slow down unless you're aware and gambling that 'this one hasn't flashed in months' so i'll risk it.
