Some of you assholes (def not me) are felons again for a few more days according to the ATF.

    There was a warrant.

This video explains it all. Essentially you're counting on a rapid fire response (within 10 minutes) to get water on the fire and save the gats. Keep the safe in a room with an internal door to keep the room heat down as much as possible.

Yeah, dude got very lucky from a rudimentary search for total loss fire safes.

Thats pretty bad ass. I'm curious what the safe specs were.
  7. You can imagine how often it happens but is never caught/proven. I know if I was a cop, I wouldn't want to do the job without it. It exonerates many more officers than it hurts.

    Don't forget the 'brace'
  9. ditto
  10. Ego drives all these interactions
  11. I think it was a poorly worded statement to mean active duty G's.
  12. I also would never do the job. You're dealing with the absolute worst part of society every day, often the same people over and over. I give them a lot of leeway with the interactions I see. BUT. When they fuck up willfully, they need to be held accountable. When they don't know basic laws (ignorance doesn't work for us) or how to apply them, they need to be held accountable. In most cases, without this type of publicity, they aren't ever held accountable.
  13. Lackluster is also great. Everything is backed up by law/case law in all his videos. https://www.youtube.com/@LackLusterMedia Same with this guy. Great content https://www.youtube.com/@thecivilrightslawyer
  14. They apparently launched on 2 as well but timely radio call by LSO to carrier captain shut it all down. Good lord.
  15. You can't convince me they don't do mass tests out of the big bucket of piss they collect. Almost every time I got selected, I was immediately re-tested and then tested again. I don't think in 23 years that I was selected and then didn't have multiple repeat tests.

  17. Was a tough decision
  18. USAA was a thousand dollars more expensive for Home/Auto when we went to renew a couple years ago.
  19. You right. Apparently it was planned as such. Weak. Play or don't play.
  20. I didn't realize he played the first half. Thats crazy. Hopefully it was injury related.
  21. Yeah most of my af experiences have been very by the book but that’s just the customer side that we see.
  22. Don't worry, your piss and career are in good hands.... https://www.militarytimes.com/news/your-military/2024/11/14/piss-poor-inside-the-sloppy-practices-of-a-military-urinalysis-lab/#:~:text=A Marine Corps gunnery sergeant,Corps Court of Criminal Appeals “The Sailors and Marines who face the devastating consequences of a criminal conviction while being afforded diminished constitutional protections should expect, and this Court will require, substantial compliance with the Department of the Navy’s urinalysis program,” appeal judge Navy Capt. Brian Mizer wrote in the ruling overturning Hirst’s conviction. The gunny pleaded not guilty at trial in April 2022 and was initially convicted, reduced in rank to sergeant and sentenced to 90 days in the brig.
