Oh, I understand it. I understand that doing that in the AOR will get you sat down and potentially sent home. However, I think everyone in the squadron has done it in a sim at some point or another. We can't all be perfect, especially the new guys just starting out. Once they make that mistake, then it's easy to fix.

I'd say the RPA guys are engaging in combat, just as much as the guy who launches a TLAM from the boat or a CALCM from a BUFF. I don't think claiming RPA guys are "more at risk" than guys flying in country is a valid argument on that path, though.

I'm not sure I see how removing religious material equates to crafting legislation specifically referencing religious material.

Or we can make a huge deal out of a non-issue. The Air Force isn't removing the bibles from the rooms. It's not preventing new bibles from being placed. All the Air Force has done is remove the "check for a bible in the drawer" step from the cleaning lady's checklist.

We were briefed that this "0-1-3" has worked at other wings, that it's not meant to be a binding contract, and that the idea is to get people thinking "well, I've exceeded the "0-1-3" guidelines, I'm not driving home". The idea is to give people a red line to assess their status against, rather than "Eh, I don't feel that drunk".

I thought it was just the latter, but if they have to pay to get laid, perhaps both. I'm not the one who implied single-seat guys have a need to hire hookers.

That would make sense, since most single-seaters are incapable of normal social interaction.
