Quick search of a few of the big sellers shows that you can get the same AK (brand new) for $690. The ammo is worth about $25. BL: It's not worth $750, especially for a used rifle. Assuming it's in pretty good functioning condition...then I'd pay $500, if that. https://www.atlanticf...l.html?Itemid=0 I'm not exactly sure on the 9mm, especially since the picture wasn't that clear...but being that you can get a Kel-Tec Sub2000 (similar to what you have pictured) brand new for around $450 when in stock, I'd pass on this one too. Tell him to give you the $750 if he really wants the bike.

This is the same price from a couple years ago, so I seriously doubt it will get much better.

SW MP-15-22 available at Bud's LE for $388. https://www.budspolic...roducts_id=2327

Let's see...the country is very polarized right now, the partial-shutdown was big news that continues to feed on people's emotions, and well, not many people care about what happens to less than .5% of the country in an extremely small State. Now if a tea-party guy went and shot 10 people in a school with an AR-15, now that would be big news...but thankfully, nothing like that has happened recently, so instead we get standard 'news'.

I'm pretty sure there's already a law stating that the government must always pay our debt payments first. Then again, there is a law to deport illegals, so...
-
Explain to me how if the federal government did not raise the debt ceiling that this would automatically equate to default? There's more than enough tax revenue to pay for the interest payments on the debt. The government would just have to decide what to pay for with the tax revenue coming in less the amount we borrow. I'm not saying there wouldn't obviously be an ecominc hit (as both sides of the coin rely on us constantly spending/borrowing)...but default is not the correct word. But really...if you're seriously worried about an economic meltdown right around the corner then I think you should stop worrying about currency and start worrying that you don't have enough guns, ammo, food, means to travel/bug out, etc. The folks that would be least affected by collapse are the guys living almost entirely on the land in remote areas/up in the mountains.

I'm sure the Dems will bring her in front of a Senate committee since 'sexual assault was a constant worry for her' since she heard the stories and heard vulgar language. It definitely fits the narrative of the 'war on women'. Had she complained that they were out of stock of her favorite birth control then they really would have noticed and this would be front page news on the Huffington Post.

Not that there's much of a run on AR style firearms anymore, but KY Gun Co has the MP-15-22 (with flash hider) in stock for $399, and that's with free shipping--so pretty good deal if you've been wanting one, almost as good as when Bud's LE has the same rifle in stock (which they rarely do). https://www.kygunco.com/smith-and-wesson-mp-15-22lr-a1-style-rifle-28489

I think the government should force us all to ride scooters...and then afterwards they'll force us to have sex with fat chicks. (hopefully someone got that joke).

I will bet you a month's flight pay that he retires as an O-5. Why would you even suggest that he wouldn't?

It's sad that the country has gotten to a point where you have to record everything...but at the same time, if you do, it does reveal some 'interesting' things. I'd be seriously pissed if a postal worker did this to my property. Story

Guess the only weapon she had was her car. A congressman described who it was...those damn tea party types at it again.

Impossible...non-LE citizens aren't allowed to have firearms there. On a much less sarcastic note, I hope the officer who got shot pulls through.

So let me get this straight...the US said they supported democratic elections in Egypt, Mubarak is removed from power, the people have elections, the elected leader is overthrown by the military, Obama and his administration won't call it a coup (though it is), and now their military is being oppressive...and we still give them aid. Sounds about right...I've dated girls less crazy than this.

Retirement of Secretary of the Air Force Michael Donley
HeloDude replied to a topic in General Discussion
I wasn't condemning her per se, just stating my opinion that a liberal appointed a liberal (my guess anyway)...then again Hagel isn't a liberal, though he was moderate enough to get through the Senate. How things will exactly go once she is confirmed will have to await to be seen. In the end, unlike Sen Gillibrand and Sen McCaskill who answer to their constituents (barely), the SecAF and the like answer to the POTUS. If they do something he doesn't like then he can fire/replace them as necessary. -

A liberal appointed a liberal...and you're surprised? It's like gun control--something like .003% of gun owners kill people which then results in the left screaming for more gun control/less Rights for the 99.997% and in a hurry. I'm sure whatever new policies put in place by our new (oncr confirrmed) SecAF will solve all of our problems with sexual assualt. -

It's always those damn tea-party types... <sarcasm> https://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/09/17/Navy-Yard-Shooter-friend-Describes%20Alexis-as-liberal-Obama-fan Oh well, still provides an excuse for the liberals to argue that we need more tyranny and less freedom and liberty.

Thanks. It will be interesting to see if this is the final word on how he got the weopans, and if it is, how dumb it will make the anti-gun crowd look...again. On a related note, it never ceases to amaze me that the military 'trusts' our officers and NCO's so much...just not enough to allow us to be armed while on base at home. I'm sure another Active Shooter CBT will solve everything.

...like Sen Feinstein. I hear ya man. And I know you're not a supporter of her.

Hmmm...Hassan had those same medals. But yet he was was 'supporting' the fight against the Global War on Terrorism. I'm fairly confident this incident does little to further the gun control debate on the national level. The Presient isn't doing so well right now and I don't think losing another battle on guns helps his approval numbers. Besides, this incident, like the shootings in Chicago, doesn't really help the left's narrative.
-
I applaud your efforts (along with rest of those on the anti-left crowd) as it is a noble cause...but it's a lost cause. The demographics and overall numbers aren't on your side. It's not just a problem with the State politics as your Senators (and most Reps) are for for more nations gun control too. As for Texas, they'll most likely be in a similar vote in another 15-20 years (who would have thought CO would be passing anti-gun laws 10 years ago?)...again, it's all about demographics and birth rates. I think you mentioned Idaho and Wyoming in an earlier post--I'd stick to one of those or one of the Dakotas.

As I have said before, I cannot feel sorry for anybody who cherishes their Gun Rights and limited government, but yet at the same time voluntarily choses to remain in a liberal State like CA, MD, NY...and coming soon to a theater near you, CO as well. Have you all not been paying attention to what's been going on in the last 20+ years?? It will not get any better, and more than likely will get much worse as the left grows their base which then includes more and more people on the government dole. Throw is amnesty for the illegals and the left's 'transformation' will be near complete as they will be nearly unstoppable to beat at the polls. Question: When does it become 'too uncomfortable'? The legislators have already made things worse for you but yet you and others continue to stay (for those of you living there by choice). Your Senators are supporting stricter gun laws in the Senate and amnesty for illegals--how much longer are you guys willing to stay?
