Great thread topic, as I too have been wanting to jump onto the GoPro wagon; but have wondered which model to get. A buddy of mine recently showed me a video he shot with a GoPro when he rented an Alfa Romeo 4C in Italy. I was impressed at the quality, and decided it would be a fun to have one. He got his off eBay, but I was wondering if I should do that or buy one of the newer/better ones? With such items I tend to start off cheap until I am sure it's worth the money to get the latest/greatest model. Is that a bad idea when it comes to GoPros? Cheers! M2

So drink up, gentlemen!

Gents Looking for a little help in righting a wrong... The Bentwaters Cold War Museum (https://www.bcwm.org.uk/) in the UK was the victim of a theft of two patches recently, and I was hoping someone on here could help replace one of them. It is a 'Got Nukes?' patch with a 'Nuclear Operations' tab at the bottom... Believe it is a AFGSC patch, definitely post-Cold War but at this point that's not the point. The point is some fucktard stole it (they actually moved a close circuit TV camera prior to gabbing it) and this excellent museum, run by volunteers who work hard to preserve the memory of USAF personnel who lived and worked at the Twin Bases, is now without it. Concur. It's not doing much on here other than promoting what is now a paid website. While a few posts in that section generate discussion such as Top brass plan incentives to fix fighter pilot shortage and Internal Email Shows Air Force Pilot Shortage at “CRISIS” Level, the vast majority have zero responses. I believe the intent was to discuss issues on BaseOps, as such it's not achieving that objective, so I would be agreement with removing it. Most folks on here are aware of the blog, and if they're so inclined, they can follow it directly. I don't see the purpose of repeating its topics on here, especially given how much it's changed...
