  1. This guys story to crime began with subtle jokes in UPT, escalated when he listened to a Beatles song, quickly putting him across the "red line" into "I wanna bone a 13-yr old being pimped out by her dad." Where was his wingman? What could we as the USAF have done better to prevent this. Maybe it was the mermaid handled beer mug, WW2 nose art, song books or the sports illustrated swimsuit issue. Most likely though, it was Yoga pants. No more yoga pants in base gyms.

  2. That's cute; maybe if things worked they way they should. The "must move" suck is in full effect, I believe stop loss is not here, yet. We're forced into sending our good guys to RPAs, but they "spare" the "stratified" guys/gals for the other assignments. Who's going to fix this? We've sent top people, well AFPC has, but we spared our leaders at all opportunity. Who's going to fix this? Me? I volunteered to go to this shit at a point in my career where this should be fun (mostly). [i'm a major now, believe that shit?] I'll take it on, but as a DO or SQ/CC, you aren't doing anything beyond mitigation here with the authority I've seen to date. Whose is going to fix this? If I try, will I just end up fired? I've seen #1/150 go to RPAs without a notice or a complaint... I've seen a guy get "protected" because we happened to send him to the wing... I've seen us take a "as #1/731" and give them a bomber... #1/731...young captain too...if that person shouldn't lead our UAV core, who should? Me? I'll do my best. The deck is stack against us...by us. Weird, Bendy

  3. I can't speak to Cobra Kai's program, but I will tell you that there are a significant number of people (20+ that I know of) who live here in Wichita Falls and have driven to Memphis based on comparing the two programs for price and duration. One of my buds asked one of the Cobra Kai instructors (a former SPS T-6 IP) if he'd considered reducing his price to at least be competive with Memphis, and they refused. So you have a large number of folks who are driving 8.5 hours each way and spending at least two nights in a hotel rather than do it local. That ought to tell you something. And in case I haven't previously posted it here, I put together a packet with a lot of good gouge for Memphis (way more than what they send you). I would post it publicly here, but it exceeds the attachment limits, so PM me with a personal e-mail if you're interested.

  4. There were several initiatives outlined in those "RPA talking points" that had me scratching my head. If you noticed, it also said they were exploring the idea of UPT direct… Again. Learning is hard.

  6. Yeah that's the catch 22 with all this that pisses me off. Hours and hours of having it beaten into you that a woman who even looks at alcohol is not culpable for any of her decisions and therefor is not responsible for her actions or capable of consent. But a man who gets drunk... Well he is fully responsible for his actions or misinterpretation that somehow occurred 24 hours after the fact when she decided she was raped. You don't get to have it both ways people. Predators are predators, but stop acting like two young people getting drunk and making a series of bad decisions that leads to sex is anything on the same level as forcible rape.
