  1. Past hour
  2. So she's post op then? Do you wear the kneepads you used as a chief or does she/he? #YTA
  3. Regardless of the outcome of the Miami v FSU game it was poignant that their pre-game hype men were a murderer and a sexual predator 🙃
  4. Does your wife still have that video of her doing the nasty with her best friend? The video reminded me of two killer whales scissoring each other to death. That video should be rated "R" for REFUND.
  5. Thank God you're 43 and were recently married, so there's a great chance you won't reproduce. I'm assuming your wife is post-op? 🤔 #YTA
  6. Here, let me help you guys out: 🍼🍼
  7. That may be the shortest post you've ever made!
  8. Listen you fucking walnut, you started the thread asking if you're the asshole. You got your answer, no need to further earn it. It's a rare day that Boomer has it right, but here we are 🤷🏻‍♂️.
  9. I do have other hobbies. One of them consists of photography and taking pictures of your wife's feet. We split the proceeds 50/50. Oh shit, I wasn't supposed to tell you. It's her side hustle. Boomer will pay a lot for these.
  10. This thread would be entertaining if it wasn’t so pathetic. You’re retired? Get a better hobby than lawn care.
  11. You're illiterate and senile too. You might want to check your facts on who was threatened to be trespassed again old man. Especially after the mom turned into a Karen just like you. Didn't you receive the OnlyFans Superfan of the Year award? You're very well versed with striking up chats with dudes acting as women on a website.
  12. Pot calling the kettle black much... The most boomer thing I've ever heard is a retired nonner using video evidence to threaten trespass against a young girl and her dog. #YTA
  13. Oh no, I'm an asshole. Your assertions mean nothing to me. You should keep those intrinsic thoughts to yourself. Which is exactly why your wife left you for a man who travels for work: A Door Dash driver. What are you going to scream about next? You can't use dial up to access your AOL account. "BOOMER." Your screen name checks out.
  14. Welp, based on you posts, you are definitely the asshole. At first I thought you might be an AI, but all the checkers comfirmed your text was literally too stupid to be computer generated. If you haven't heard of the website reddit.com, I think you'd bloom there. #YTA
  15. I love when people assume. My wife is an engineer and purchased this home long before we were married. I married her a year before I retired from the Air Force. The house being in a HOA has nothing to do with me. It's no different than living on any military base. I grew up on Fort Hood,Texas and Wheeler Army Airfield, Hawaii as an Army brat in the 90s. Fort Hood had contractors who would write up homes in base housing who were noncompliant with housing rules just like a HOA. So your experiences in life are nowhere close to mine. We were never written up because my family took care of he home we were provided. It's not difficult to display some respect and be considerate of your neighbors property. All base housing or a HOA wants you to do is not allow your pets to shit and piss everywhere. They want you to mow the lawn and take your trash receptacles off the street within 24-48 hours after pickup. Why? Because people have gardeners that need to park along the street. Lots of friends and families visit our neighborhood daily. Nobody wants to move stinky trash cans in order to park. I was raised to take pride in whatever I owned (Fort Hood/Wheeler). You were probably not raised like me. I have a lot of men and women who stop by to ask me about my lawn care practices. Even the landscapers who take care of the rental properties around our home ask me questions. None of the retirees on this street walk around with beers in their hands. I live next to people who are all colors of the rainbow that are from the Philippines, India, Gaza, etc. We have each others back. You would be drinking that beer alone, probably like you're doing now. Dude, I wasn't talking about handymen. Handymen aren't typically licensed and insured. Everyone who steps foot on my property are licensed and insured. I check because I don't need anyone falling of a ladder and trying to sue. Like I stated earlier, we were just raised differently and don't view everything through the same lens.

  17. I was hell bent on investing in a robotic mower. It seemed like no matter the gardener I hired or how much I pay for their services. I wind up with people who don't use any science backed data to care for plants, lawns, or trees. I use an arborist for my tree now. This has been experiences from neighbors as well. It's also kind of bullshit that one ethnicity group is better than others for landscaping. The group I'm referring to just oversaturates the market because they're cheaper to hire. When I ask them questions about plants or grass, I have received shoulder shrugs. For example, what type of grass are you mowing because that determines your mow height? A lot of them don't sharpen their mower blades either, which will wreck your lawn and cause lawn diseases to spread. I reached out to Husqvarna"s CEO overseas. He had a representative in my state provide a robotic mower demo at my home. The representative drove over an hour to my house. I had him setup the mower up on my back patio in order to see if it could navigate a 40 ft long, paved walkway on the side of my house to my driveway. Then navigate to my front lawn. The mower navigated from the paved patio, down a 10 ft concrete walkway, then to the paved walkway. From there, the mower turned into a pinball by running into my Tuff Shed repeatedly and the AC drain line on the side of my house. The representative moved the mower to the driveway. The mower navigated onto my lawn. From there, the mower either stopped mowing, just sat there, or seemed lost. It didn't even finish mowing my small, front lawn. After these issues, the mower needed to charge after not really accomplishing anything. I thought sales representative would be at my house for 30 minutes. He was there for 2+ hours. The sales representative told me this was the worst demo he's ever experienced. I told myself, I'm not paying $3.5K for this piece of crap. Husqvarna headquarters tried to gaslight me by saying my grass was long and the mower was a pre production model that lacked a certain module. I was told they would come back out after sending a module to the sales representative. I never heard from them again. I watched a few robotic mower head to head competition videos on YouTube. Husqvarna's version never excelled. Imagine buying something that's AI driven, but can't navigate down a walkway. AI is a marketing scam.
  18. I've got one, and honestly the only reason I feel comfortable with the thing is because the bullets it uses are such low power rounds. It's strange feeling how much less... sturdy... a gun from that era feels. But then again they were just being smashed out by every factory that could produce them.

  20. AI has HollyWeird (Hollywood) actors in shambles. A company just launched an AI actress and actors are pissed. The AI actress looks good, shows up to work on time, and doesn't get involved into politics. That's a win for studios because they will have to probably pay AI far less.
  21. Liberals, like Salmon swimming upstream.

    Gun Talk

Anyone have a Universal M1 carbine? I picked one up, took it apart and it seems fine (e.g. safe to shoot). I wanted to see if anyone has experience with one (things to look for, gotchas, etc.)
  23. AI is getting good at creating content....
  24. Any chance you're related to LordRatner...? 🤔
  25. #1. I live in a HOA and you'll rarely see a dog running loose. You're more likely to see a coyote roaming than a personal pet. Pets roaming free wind up as a coyote snack like the stray cat in my screenshot. #2. I have a custom made sign that's bright yellow and made of reflective aluminum. My sign essentially says, "CAUTION and to please keep dogs off the lawn due to the LEGAL, but hazardous herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers" I use on my lawn. There is a symbol on my sign of a man walking a dog with a bright red circle with a diagonal line through both figures. #3. If your pets are urinating and pooping on lawns, the HOA will fine those individuals. We have more than enough parks, trails, and dog poop collection stations with FREE poop bags throughout our community for it to NEVER occur. #4. After one dog urinates in a spot to "scent mark." Other dogs will try to repeatedly mark that same spot. Pet urine has a lot of nitrogen in it, which will burn the grass and turn it yellow. To prevent the nitrogen burn, you have to dilute the area with water. #5. Before I had to put my dog down, I walked her on the curb side and away from lawns. My body acted as a buffer and she was off leash. When we would get to the main street that is a 5 minute walk from our house. She can do whatever she wants because there aren't any homes along the route. The HOA has the poop stations along the route since it's meant for exercising and walking pets. #6. Weeds. Dogs walking through multiple lawns can spread weed seeds, fleas, and ticks. Pre emergent can't prevent every weed from germinating in a lawn. My cameras can create virtual boundaries and will notify me when someone crosses the property lines. What do I say to violators with pets? #1. I show them the video evidence because my cameras will track repeat offenders. My cameras will create "motion events" of the owner and pet for me to view. #2. The sidewalk is public property. My lawn is private property. After you or your pet step onto my lawn, you're crossing onto my property. My insurance doesn't cover you or your dog being on my property WITHOUT my permission. I had a lady push back against her daughter and dog being allowed on my lawn. I told her that I would have her (the mom) trespassed. Especially after trying to address the issue twice before. I also told the mom if she actually took care of her lawn that her dog wouldn't want to roll in mine. All he's doing is rolling in the fertilizer chemicals. Additionally, I told the mom the incursions are happening because her daughter is allowing the dog to be off the leash. I explained to her that I've seen kids younger than her daughter see my sign and pull their dog off the lawn. I just laughed about it and wouldn't approach any kids regarding the matter. Her daughter was doing it daily. For my final point, I told her if something happens to your daughter on my property, you're going to try and sue. Let's say the daughter breaks her ankle on an unlevel part of the lawn that I haven't filled in with soil to level yet. #3. What's the big deal? If I spray Roundup on a specific weed or spray herbicide that's only friendly to my cool season lawn. Your dog could walk through the chemicals and harm my lawn or kill a neighbor's lawn that's a warm season lawn. There are warm season and cool season lawn herbicides. Warm season herbicides shouldn't touch cool season lawns and vice versa. #4. After talking to 4 dog owners about trespassing on personal property, lawn chemicals effects on pets like cancer, or showing them video evidence of their disrespect. I typically never see them on my street again. Except for one older gentlemen who I never spoke with. He just walks his huge poodle along the curb after I posted his pictures on the Nextdoor app. You can see his dog in my screenshot. Public shaming actually works in our community, as it should everywhere. FYI: The black dog in my screenshot is being walked on a leash by it's owner across the street from my house. The dog's owner is actually walking 2 dogs. The other dog was trailing behind on a leash.
