If Trump does something I like, I say it, if not, I say I don’t like it just the same. As for privatizing vs government employee…as we are seeing, it’s a much, much easier to adjust the numbers with a contract employees vs government employees. Just one example, which is all I need since the discussion is on shrinking the size of the federal workforce. As for safety, was I trained more poorly with sim instructors who were contractors vs GS employees? Was my life more at risk when I was flown on a rotator by a contracted company vs on a military jet?

Well, I am a mod…and your post (like most your others) are noted. Good luck with that TDS.
-
No…I’m willing to cut some positions, and then privatize even fewer of the ones cut. ATC is needed, just like airport security, but it doesn’t necessarily need to be government employees. National Park employees (as an example)…we can cut some of those and also don’t need to privatize the ones we cut.
-
Well, the left doesn’t seem to want to cut any positions, and rather expand the government, so in the meantime I’ll take just about any cuts. Are some positions more important to cut than others, of course…but let’s not pretend that the big government types (and yes, that includes those in the GOP) want to cut much of anything.

Such a strong response. About as strong as your other posts.
-
I said cut, not eliminated—way too many government employees who are definitely not needed. As for ATC, I would much rather see it privatized, but until then, they definitely provide a needed service when compared to many of the national park government employees, as one example.
-
I agree with you—both should be cut.

All the more reason to not need the ATF to “work” these forms.

Commanders are dropping like flies this year

You didn’t make this big of a stink over the last 15+ years of other people who were serving in various high level positions, when there were better/stronger options available. Dude, you hate Trump, and just about everyone he picks to serve on his team. We get it. You’re free to have your opinion, but your emotions on this issue have gotten quite old. -
Probably the same reason this guy will win…don’t pretend that you progressives are above the nonsense. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna235573

Dude, you’re just embarrassing yourself. https://app.enhancedvoting.com/results/public/shelby-county-tn/elections/General11052024

Interesting way to get the Dems’ support on allowing Putin to keep the seized territory.
-
Wait…I thought the left said that Trump is who caused Kimmel off the air because Trump is against free speech? So did Trump change his mind, or…?
-
Yeah, definitely don’t support this bad idea.

Have to respectfully disagree with you there bud…it was an 11 yard pass, so definitely not what I would call a “Hail Mary”. But it was an awesome and exciting finish. ND is also 0-2 now, not 1-2. I agree with much of the rest of your analysis—good stuff and glad the beginning of the season has yet to disappoint!

Ummm, he sounds like Gen X

Of course their assassinations were horrible and wrong. As for not posting about it, I don’t think most people (nationally) even know who those people were, whereas Charlie Kirk was definitely well known. And if you did an unsuccessful search for their names, why didn’t you post about it when it occurred? The point is what I don’t recall is a big conservative push to say how it was a good thing those state reps were killed—unless I missed something?

In before Biff calls dibs 😂

The evidence that Trump raped underage girls is about as strong as the evidence that Trump colluded with Russia. As others have said, if the Dems had this on Trump, they most definitely would have released it before Nov 2024. Until someone can give me a legitimate reason that such evidence exists and then further why the Dems intentionally chose to not release it, then it can all be easily dismissed without evidence.

It appears the current reports suggest the Captain shutoff the engines…this along with reports that he had some problems with depression/mental illness in his recent past tells me what most likely happened.

$4 Trillion added to the deficit!? So next FY year we’ll see a $6 Trillion deficit!? Damn.

Looks like the House passed the Senate version of the BBB, and currently the markets seem to approve. I’m not a huge fan of the bill as it didn’t address spending cuts that I believe are way past due.
