It happened. It was a bird. It was not the same bird from the glider video in another thread. Judging from the reaction here, nobody cares. And maybe that's where BO is at this stage?

Why would you think nobody cares? I bet plenty of people on here care about fellow pilots, whether they personally know them or not. I certainly do.

You're right of course, there are people here who care. I was whining that I posted the scant and sarcastic info almost two days after the incident. I did get reactions though, and that's what I was hoping for. There's a pulse here.

Maybe it's a good time for me to leave? Is twenty years enough already? Where's Rainman when you need him (don't answer that)? I'm going on vacation tomorrow, maybe I'll make that permanent!

This place isn’t near as life swallowing and toxic as the other places I typical lurk. So much so I’ll even raise my hand once in a while.

The water is warm, no need to get out. Still lots of wisdom lurking around and I still think young bucks are searching for it.

Just look how busy the Active Duty hiring board posts get.

Back on topic… like Clayton said, birds aren’t real, will be interesting to hear what lies the investigation board comes up with to cover that up.
