Just got notified, UPT select! 96 Pilot 92 PCSM, PPL, second time applying and LOR from Wg/CC in non rated AFSC. Good luck gents!!

UCT select. 99 Pilot, 84 PCSM, 41 flight hours, no PPL, 1/1 at the wing, second time applying. Not the outcome I was hoping for, but there is always next year. Hopefully I’ll open up a spot for someone who really wanted CSO.

Just got notified! UPT Select! 99 Pilot 98 PCSM 320 flight hours PPL/Instrument/Commercial/MultiEngine/Certified Flight Instructor. #1 at squadron/group and 1/19 wing Strat ! First time applying.

11 years in the military. Prior enlisted maintainer/ Prior Flight Engineer/ Current RPA Pilot.

UPT select. First time applying. 92 PCSM, 99 Pilot, 11 flight hours, rated preparatory program, and 1/1 at wing

UPT select! 1st application, 95 Pilot, 93 PCSM, 150 flight hours with PPL, 1/1 at wing. LOR from O-6 at my base’s tenant wing who I worked closely with. Currently 2.5 years in as a non-rated Flt/CC.

Got notified, pilot select! 1st application, 84pilot, 88PCSM, 21Hours, 1/5 at wing, Wg/CD LOR, non-rated AFSC. 

Just found out! UPT select! First time applying. 99 Pilot, 68 PCSM, 1.2 flight hours, 2/2 at the Wing, 2x Flt/CC, and an ops-type deployment. 

Got the call this morning UPT select! Nuked at the sq last year and first time making the board this year. 99P/99PCSM 50 hours neg PPL (checked last week so guess one less checkride at IPT). 3/3 in the sq unknown at Wg Let Rec O4 deployment sq cc.  We went 3/3 in my sq all as 1 Lt/Capt (s) with maxed scores. Seems scores may have held more weight this year cuz I definitely felt weak in whole Airman.

I saw a comment asking if anyone had the PSDM release, but it disappeared. My Wg CC notified me in person, and I’m dying to see the official release. Can anyone send it to me?

REMINDER: the PSDM is Controlled Unclassified Information. it is not authorized for distribution on non-AF networks or to individuals who cannot be confirmed DoD personnel.

Congratulations to everyone who was selected. For those who didn't quote get what you were looking for, don't give up if this is something you want to do. I know guys who got it on the third, fourth, and fifth tries. 

 

If anyone has any questions about UPT, feel free to ask. I'm not as good of a source now that IPT is a thing vs traditional UPT (ish) that I went through but I know people going through and have finished IPT and UPT.

Where is everyone hoping to go for UPT? I put Vance, Columbus, and then Laughlin.

I put Columbus Laughlin Vance. Don’t want to be in the middle of nowhere Enid with a wife and kiddos. My wife doesn’t want to be in Texas because she thinks the cartel will kidnap us close to the border lol

Any idea when we’ll hear about base selections and flight medical? I’m sure it’s tentative on government shutdown but wonder if it’s a quick turnaround or we’ll wait weeks til we hear anything else. 

I got Laughlin Vance Columbus, will be surreal to shoot an approach into randolph in the actual T-6 that I practiced in RIQ.

Wait until you get to formation and you realize that you completely skipped this in RIQ. Formation will humble you real quick.

lol I shouldn’t laugh, but this cracked me up. My wife has already said she will not be joining me if we go to Laughlin. We’ll see how the chips fall. I’m just grateful to have been selected.

The PSDM said some selectees will get assignments for Jan 2026, so at least for those people I would imagine they can’t wait too long. For those still requiring the MFS at Wright-Patt, training RIPs should flow within one month of selection and will be a TDY out and back from your current home station. Results came out sooner than expected, so I’m hoping for sooner rather than later with the assignments as well.

Lol I do think that Columbus is maybe the best out of all 3 so we will see. Hopefully this government shutdown doesn’t effect too much and things are able to still be processed
