Would like to get it painted. Anybody know of any place that does it? I did use the search function...but got lazy after looking through the first 3 returns. All you need to do is to get the art work and find an artist that know his/her sh!t. Check THIS out I have seen some Vietnam era Army art work. Back in those days, I think it was just cowboy mentality. You will see aircrew with naked women on helmets, probably with a cigarette while flying. Are we ever going to go back to that? Hacker Posted September 5, 2008 Share Posted September 5, 2008 The best way to do it is to remove all the leather edgeroll, sand/prep/paint the helmet, and then apply a new edgeroll. That takes a pretty good bit of arts and crafts skill, although I bought a case of beer for one of the life support NCOs in the squadron and she helped me glue all that stuff back together so it didn't look crappy.
