    And I have an inbound tracking number to me....assuming they go out tonight I'll have them tomorrow

    My plan is to ship them UPS/Fedex to you guys with signature required...if you want something different please let me know. I'll get everyone an individual shipping cost once I get the watches...still dont know how heavy each watch box and stuff will be.

    Have a charge on my credit card for "Swatch Repairs" a couple days after the "Swatch Group Inc." charge. Anyone else get the same thing???

    I just noticed I have the same charge (141 I think). The orginal charge was what I was expecting, but I'm not sure what this one is.

    had the same thing but on mine its showing as a pending charge of $1 so nothing has posted yet......guessing its going to be the extra band or something.

    is it the same one you gave me before? We have time because they send all the watches to me then i send them out.

    saw my card was charged too....like 1k less than i expected, seems they didnt charge me yet for the extra strap...guess we will see how that turns out

    All CC's were submitted to the billing department on Thursday according to the lady at Swatch. Our watches are with them in NY and she said she is expecting them to ship to me sometime this week after the billing department clears everything.

    Every single one of my (non-flying) peers. Some have already completed SOS cor, though I think they were in the old course. We were notified in Dec.

    i see no problem with that.....if you were eligible for the old course and didnt register before they changed it........well, that's just dumb.....

    Quick question for everyone who has used NBOKC for their mortgage--once closed, do they turn around and sell your mortgage to another bank or keep it? I've refi'd twice with another bank in the KC area, and each time they've worked a great rate but then sold the loan to Wells Fargo within a month.
    Mine went right back to wells Fargo

    VA Loans

    Just did a 2nd refinance with Dave Devine going from 3.75 to 3.375. We added 6 months of payments getting a new 30 yr loan but our monthly payment went down almost $100 a month and it only added about $900 to our principle. We were overpaying our payment with the 3.75 and will continue to make the same payments. Very happy with the experience again. We went from setting up the refinance to closing in a week. If I buy a house at my next assignment we will be going through Dave again.

    So..... it looks like I won't be able to sell my home and instead will end up renting it for enough to cover my mortgage and the management fees plus a little extra left over. This is a VA loan (refinanced through NBoKC). Have any of you had success in getting another mortgage for a second home in another city (Around a 750ish credit score)? Any advice? Thanks guys.

    going through the same thing right now......from what I gathered from talking to Dave we couldn't do another VA because we only had 170k of VA money left but he said we could do a conventional with 5% down and no PMI so we are looking into going that route

    Well we finally got an answer back. The watches are about to enter production and we were told to expect delivery mid April....she said they would try for earlier but don't count on it......if anyone needs to update their credit card info PM me

    I was not aware of this; can't believe none of my C-5 brethren chose to share that little gem with me.

    I'll go ahead and mark that in the pro column and slip C-5 up to the top of my dream sheet.

    Pcola, as far as TDYs, leadership/culture, flying; where would you prefer. Dover or Travis?

    it depends....Dover will get really busy in the next year and Travis will get really slow....just depends on how many days you want to be gone.

    I've stopped in under 1000' from touchdown with 30,000# of fuel and no cargo with almost no wind. That's 315,000# of gear moving at 120 MPH. Logged almost 15 hours with just a single air refueling. Many have gone much longer in one leg.

    Thanks for the info everybody. They sure did not make it easy to get a short tour with these new changes...at least not in the C-17 community (unless of course you go on a 365).

    i think that was the point of changing it.....

    Doaa left the company, didnt tell anyone about our order....so we sat on the back burner...new guy is in charge of it, latest is to expect the watches in Jan...he should be giving me an update this week or next week.
