    I get the AMC part but I am still curious to know WTF is a chief pilot?

    Is that like what people in the military would refer to as a Flt/CC or DO or something?

    Are ACs, Co-pilots, Navs and Sweaties called Captains, First Officers, Second Officers and Flight Attendants (as in one who is present during flight)?

    how it works in our squadron is pilots --> Flt/CC ---> Chief Pilot.

    O-4 type that supervises the other pilots

    going on 3 weeks returning from my deployment/TDY and my travel voucher still hasn't been paid. My last partial payment was de-scheduled by finance and my GTC is over 3 weeks overdue now...just got the "you are on the GTC badboy list" from my chief pilot.....what a surprise.

    I was in Rota for 4 days at the end of last month (Sandy mission delay). The M that was on jacks when we got there, was still on jacks when we left.

    Disclaimer: I've heard some of the horror stories about The Insurgency, so that may not be the jet's fault...

    Omega finally made contact today - the first time since September. Doaa left the company, but her replacement is looking in to our order. I'll post as soon as they get back to me. I reminded them of our holiday delivery expectation, but we'll have to see what they say with progress.

    We are closing in on 7 months after order, have we had any updates to delivery date? Thanks.

    Well, a poor one, at least, since they haven't charged anybody anything at this point. Certainly is ruining options for those planning Christmas presents, though.

    I have been emailing Doaa once a week for the past 4 weeks. I have not heard from her in about 9 weeks now. Another guy in the order has trying calling as well and is getting no response..I return from a deployment in just under two weeks and will start calling again.....but its not looking good :banghead:

    This is not a problem with myPay. If you submitted it and received confirmation it should process. What displays in myPay is only your current active open items of your pay record. So those myPay requests won't show up until they process (after 1 Nov if you entered the request in Oct). So you can go in 20 times after the first time and it still will not show. The first one should process and those other 20 would reject since they are duplicate transactions. Go check myPay today and see if it shows up. I'll bet it is there with the 1 Nov effective date from your original request. The one you now see with a Dec start will reject since by the time it tries to process the start transaction it will reject since you cannot start something again that has already been started. Make sense?

    thanks not sure what happened with it not registering for 1 NOV as effective date....the screen now shows the changes i made and says effective 1 Dec....oh well

    Exactly my point. If the dude spent all 10-12K on gourmet chefs and French maids how is it different from renting a place at a high-end condo that provides the same amenities? Ok so then how much is he allowed to profit, $50, $500, $5000? Who makes that call and why?

    Agree the gift cards are idiotic. Other stuff could fall under "services" but that's a blatant kickback.

    Finally got an email back. our order was approved, they are waiting for a caseback to be made and send pictures to me for approval. Said it would be 4-5 weeks for that. Waiting to see how long after that we will get the watches.

    What is your source for this? At the most recent rated manning conference in DC, AF/A1PP, who is in charge of setting personnel policy, stated that non-continuation would not be used as a force shaping tool in coming boards. The AF is close enough to meeting it's end-strength goals that they only need to use volunteer and incentive programs instead.
