Flight Evaluation Board (FEB)
I just spent four months of my life serving as a recorder on a FEB and know way more than I care to admit. After the board adjourns, much time is spent waiting for the court reporter to produce the transcript. Then both the senior board member and recorder have to audit the transcript... blah blah blah Then a multitude of legal reviews commence, beginning at the Wing level up through the chain before it is dropped on the desk of the final authority. My MAJCOM/CC has delegated final authority down to his DO. (Not sure if this is standard) So yes, sit and wait. It does take time. Feel free to PM.

Supervising GS Personnel
I'm assuming you're active duty and she is a straight civilian. This can get complicated in the world of technicians and reservist. If she is a straight civilian and you are active duty, no you won't get in trouble. Emasculated maybe--trouble no.

C-17 4-engine flameout/SIB/FEB questions in here
I thought I remembered reading something about a checklist directing the proper configuration not being referenced. I'm not a -17 bubba, just asking.

Peanut and pine nut allergies. Can I become a fighter pilot?
Spatial disorientation. Check. So you sit down at your very first AFA dinner and they serve you a huge plate of peanuts with a side of pine nuts. Simple, forgo the meal. You'll live to fly another day. PS Dont post on FB how you are smarter than the MAN.

WTF? (**NSFW**)
This reminds me of the implementation of the pilot "bank" concept in 1991. We were just about through 38's when they showed up and briefed us that there weren't enough jets for all of us. Orignally, those in my class who didnt have a seat when the dust settled were allowed to seperate and join ARC/guard units the day they pinned on their wings. Some are still flying today, no staff, and 69% less queep.

I wonder if Hostage knew 60 min had the two pilots when he was answering Stahl's questions? Good on em.

When is a Masters degree needed for a Guard Officer?
Your decision to move will come early too. The ARC requires SQ/DO's to move to a different unit, just like active duty. Nepotism
