    I was thinking the same thing.  The slide says something about 18 days from OSD to public release date...so unless they approve it tomorrow, probably going to be October.

    Who knows where it actually is. The 22 Jul date on there didn’t appear on the chart until an update in late August.

    That's my point.  It seems like they do not intend to involuntarily separate majors anymore but I am wondering if I am missing something.

    They haven’t intended that for some time. In 2011, they had the fiasco with the non-continued majors, but I haven’t heard of anyone being denied continuation since (to include Capts).

    Does anyone have info about the 5 year promotion zone for Lt Col?  By my calculations, a Major is in sanctuary after the fifth look which means they no longer have to be continued if not promotion eligible.  I assumed that AFPC was getting their shit in one sock and would publish more guidance but I haven't heard much about it since it was announced a while back.

    Confused. If you’re in sanctuary, why would you need continuation?

    Can anyone with staff experience weigh in on what exactly happens with these promotion lists?  I find it hard to believe folks would be added/dropped from a promotion list that was chaired by 06 and flag officers. And if that's not the case why all the delays?  

    They’re probably deciding on a new, lower promote rate due to COVID.

    When I’ve been TDY where a DFAC is open and classes/flying/sims prevent using it during the week, I’ve only gotten full rate on duty days and partial on the weekends. (Unless I had a non-A, then full rate every day).

    Does anyone know if that 90% was for just IPZ or does that 90% promotion rate include everyone in the zone and above?

    Guessing the 90% is based off the number of IPZ eligible, any APZ promotees will decrease the effective rate for IPZ.

    Just got my PRF. Anyone know where “Promote now” ranks in the hierarchy of pushes?  Obviously, “If I had one more DP,” or “Definitely Promote” with a P would have been better. On the E side, Promote Now beats Must Promote, is the same true for Os in the eyes of the board?
