  1. Post it here, good luck! http://www.flyingsquadron.com/forums/forum/8-what-are-my-chances/
  2. KC-135's in Nebraska Apps. are due in 2 weeks. http://www.guardreservejobs.com/newjobboard/jobs/kc-135-pilot-12/
  3. https://www.okiepilothiring.com/ KC-135's in OK. UPT board in February if anyone hasn't seen this one.
  4. Think he means 121st FS at DC and no Blueskyz they are still in a holding pattern.
  5. A lot of things you will see in the AZ application instructions are worded directly too prior service. Reason for this is they used to only hire prior service and have only recently opened up the board to off the street. Because of this I assume they just haven’t updated some of the wording.
  6. All the previous boards I have applied too that require the 369 simply want you to attach the filled out DD 369 with your info and then the squadron itself will submit it for a record check if they so choose.
  7. Haha I can relate. Your official TBAS score the AF never releases. I pulled this from the AF TBAS site, "There is no such thing as a "TBAS score", per se. The TBAS actually produces a number of individual scores, all of which are combined with the AFOQT Pilot and flight hours values to yield the PCSM score. So yes you are correct they are the same thing. Not sure why some units ask for both.
  8. Hawaii sent out invites early this week. DC still delayed after being activated, going to reach out to them soon and try and get an update. Jax said initial phone interviews late August so probably a week or so. Long Island was never involved with that process so can’t help you there. If you got an interview with them though and it’s been that long I would reach out to the POC.
  9. What units are you waiting on? Might be able to help put your mind at ease on a few of them.
  10. Affirmative and to the best of my knowledge the application simply wants you to attach the filled out DD 369 with your info and then the squadron itself will submit it for a record check if they so choose.
  11. Vermont Update so it is still a little ways out. The Vermont Air National Guard will begin accepting applications 1 November 2020 for a spring 2021 Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT) Board. The deadline for applications to be submitted is 31 December 2020.
  12. Exactly I’d like to see the breakdown of competitive applications vs. the number of apps for each unit being skewed higher cause a lot more guys and gals are now shotgunning apps out after finding out about the guard, but don’t have very competitive apps
  13. Hurry up and wait. Best motto around for these times.
  14. Spamming the forum with the same post won’t get you an answer any faster trust me. Patience is key in a lot of factors. Anyways last I reached out to the 163rd was a little over a month ago and received this reply. Unfortunately we are not having a board this year. The earliest would be next spring, but that isn’t certain at this time. We usually advertise on bogidope when we announce a board. Thanks for reaching out. Maj Hart 163FS
  15. http://www.guardreservejobs.com/newjobboard/jobs/traditional-c-130j-pilot/ UPT board is a ways out, but to anyone who wants an early head start.
  16. Sounds like you are well on your way and got most of the bases covered. One thing I would recommend that helped me a lot is your local library. Just search for afoqt and they usually have a couple solid books including the officer candidate one. Should have a couple full length practice exams available in each one. Best of luck!
  17. Those are the main two. The only other ways I've had some success in info on UPT boards is the squadrons website and facebook. A decent amount of units have fb hiring pages for their squads and good many also post updates on their websites. I would recommend reaching out though. Even if cold calling the unit is not your thing, just shoot the POC a quick, friendly email and they are usually more than happy to pass along the latest info.
  18. There was no source document. My recruiter only sent me that exact picture.
  19. A toast to both of them. Was reading these past couple posts and happened across this video and found it interesting. Reference time 4:35 in the video
  20. Alright ya'll figured I'd offer what I have. I spent at least a couple weeks trying to get in touch with a pilot at the 199th fighter squadron. Finally managed to get one of the AD pilots who passed me the email of the squadron DO Lt Col Horton. I emailed him and he informed me that the HI ANG does not keep a set schedule on their boards and the only way to get board information is indeed to go through the recruiters. He put me in contact with the recruiter that deals directly with their boards MSgt Manalo. PM me if you are interested and I will give you her contact info. I sent her an email and she reached out to make sure I had all the prerequisites done (AFOQT etc.) and then she sent me the requirements for the application package. She has a database started and will shoot out a mass alert to submit your package when the submission date drops for the UPT board. The 199th, 203rd, and 204th run joint boards so she will be the gate keeper for all 3 if you are interested in something other than the F-22's as well.
  21. Alright understood I’ve done some digging, but haven’t come up with anything yet I’ll do some more. I’m in the southeast. Good luck on your board!
  22. Question for you all. I am seriously considering putting up an application for an AD board. However, like most of you I am only interested in pilot and only put that selection down on my initial form to the recruiter. He sent me back "Just wanted to let you know that our regulations specified that applicants applying in the rated positions must list at a minimum of two rated positions, and noticed that you only have one, they will reject it at AFRS. Update your profilesheet to reflect two jobs." And he sent this picture as documentation I Know I have seen many people post that it is not required to list more than one choice on an AD app so is my recruiter incorrect? I am truly passionate about flying and I would turn down any other rated offer so only wish to pursue the one choice. Not sure if I should find another recruiter or try and talk with this one without sounding arrogant or douchey for only wanting to put pilot.
