TIB was in town here last night...we have a dude who is in it (previously referenced). This morning we had an all-call so the TIB commander (some 1Lt who was a running back at the zoo) could thank the squadron for "letting them have our boomer". They sang us a couple songs, which actually weren't too bad, and then gave our SQ/CC a plaque. They should have been personally thanking the 2 boomers who had to deploy extra to pick up the slack. But what made me most mad was that they get to wear BLACK BOOTS with that fruity little blue onsesie getup they wear. And they smile waaaaaay too much.

No. I was an aviation major at U of Illinois and did ROTC. ROTC will not pay for flight costs, so assuming you are even eligible for a ROTC scholarship you will still have a TON of money to pay. With that being said, there are a few different types of ROTC scholarships available. I suggest you start reading the ROTC threads.

Most importantly, are they still doing missed meals? Updates to policy: Civies allowed off duty and off base travel is encouraged. There is no three drink rule. However, as soon as someone ######s up it is PT Gear all the time, so pack like you are going to the AFCENT just in case.

The 340th is already battling this. We go to Right Start once a year and the rest of the times sit through a quick ppt during the commanders in-brief. And to the tanker crew that gets to customs right after the JSTARS...during the Qatari dinner hour and a half.
