I disagree. You should go ahead and do what it takes to fill the masters degree square while you are in with as little effort as possible. Get it over with, then get a real one when you get out of the military via GI Bill, TA, etc. Granted, no one will care about your ERAU degree, but I'd venture to say that not many people would care about your masters degree that is 10+ years old that you haven't used since you got it. For example, I am a Criminal Justice major, so it would be pointless to get a masters in anything related to my BA because it's one of those topics that changes so frequently. Just my .02.

That's not exactly groundbreaking stuff. Who doesn't request the longest runway during an IFE? The whole "declaring an emergency" thing is not that big of a deal, kind of shows how little the average American knows about flying in general. They make it out to be a much bigger deal...

I have Sprint, and I get sub par service in housing on base here on NASCC. I called them, asking about canceling since I was on orders, etc. They told me I could (talk to retentions, they helped the most) but they offered me an additional 5% a month discount on my bill plus a free early upgrade on a phone. I took that since I won't be here long, and the service is tolerable. Regardless, they said I could without any issues.

I don't know about it being a qualifier, since I don't. But as far as it being a disqualifier, I believe it is if it is documented and you take meds for it. Hopefuly one of the docs on here can tell you for sure. edit: spelling taught by a state school

Similar thing happened to me. They listed mine as 44" (I'm not eight feet tall) and I think the max was 40, or something like that. Nevertheless, I went to the NCOs at the det. and they made an appointment for me on base. All they did was redo the sitting height, I was measured correctly and I heard nothing more about it. I wouldn't sweat it. Talk to the NCOs, they should be able to help.

FWIW, my wife got a Palm Pre yesterday and I have mine on order. I've been messing with her Pre, and I have to say that I am fairly impressed. Seems to be fast, even when it isn't on WIFI. Battery seems decent too. I wanted to go with Iphones, but at 60 bucks more per month for service, it's not worth it. I wish it had more apps, but they are on the way supposedly.

Yeah, but it doesn't make a lot of sense to me if my wife's number is from Atlanta and mine is from Central Georgia (the area codes border each other) why we can't combine into a family plan. ATT services both area codes. The crazy thing is I keep talking to different ATT reps and I keep getting different stories. Sprint can do it no problem, and I think I might stick with them. It's about 50 dollars cheaper per month for the same service.

Yeah, I've fought the battle a few times over the past year, but I get the same thing. Apparently if the area codes are close enough, they can do it. Even though our area codes are both from Georgia, they wont combine them. One of the guys I talked to said we could do a business plan and it would work, but we wouldn't get a discount of any type. It's worth another shot though.

The iphone isn't much better. The plans are expensive. It's one of the main reasons why I want to stay with Sprint. With the military discount, I think I pay 63 bucks after tax that an iphone guy pays 80 something a month. That and because ATT won't let my wife and I combine into a family plan because we have different area codes.

Does anyone here have a Palm Pre? I'm eligible for an upgrade and I'm thinking about getting it.
