I think you have to side with the artist here. I could see her coming home and Dad throwing a fit. So she makes up some story about falling asleep. I don't have a tattoo, but I doubt you could fall asleep while someone does that to your face.

Funny that you say that, because my Grandfather likes to tell a couple stories from his days as a medic in France during WWII. He can even recall little details, like the names of guys he helped in the field, where they were from back home, etc.

I doubt it's an acronym, considering we use terms like "No Joy", "Tally", "Ziplip", etc. and I highly doubt those are acronyms. Probably just some Col that needed that final bullet to get his star.

My parents serve it in their bar, and it is one of my personal favorites, but you can only find in WI.
