Any new crap going on at the Deid? Start my penance in 3 weeks. Last there in summer of 13. Can't imagine much has changed? Still good coffee at the Bean, milk shortage, and no rip-its?

Sounds like a plan. I'll be happy to take my 42 T-38 sorties in April and convert that to ACIP. According to my TX hazed, public math, that would get me $3,150. I like the way you think!

I told leadership that I'm off this sinking ship next October and magically, 4 months later, here's your 6-monther to the Deid. If you are reading this Chang...this is one of the 69 reasons people have had it. You want more fighter SP throughput, deploy an experienced IP from T-38s, while ramping up class sizes. That'll help the burden on others. 23 Oct 18 can't come soon enough.

BODNers, Got tagged for a 6-monther to the Deid leaving in July and I can't find desert Major flightsuit rank anywhere. The UDM is out, ebay has none, AAFES (haha!!), 6-9 different BX's....nothing. If anybody has any they are willing to part ways with, new or used, I would be willing to pay shipping costs and for the rank as well. Don't know where else to ask this, but what are folks at the Deid getting nowadays for "incentive pay"? Is it still tax free? I think I read that hostile fire pay is gone, not sure what else. $3.50 I'm sure hasn't changed since I was there in 11'/13'. Just got my good deal Deid in July trip emailed to me. If you have any references that would be great as well. Thanks!

I pin on Maj in 7 days and I'm at 19 yrs 6 months of service. For officer purposes I'm still considered in my zone and on-time. What you did in the past as an E is in the past. For pay purposes you'll get the O-1E if you have at least 4 yrs worth of active duty points. Check the containers and you'll make Maj, but who knows what the mil will look like then wrt manning. I went to UPT after OTS and we all found out during OTS. There is plenty of time to PCS your family after your stay at the Maxell Hilton. More than likely you'll have 6+ months of wait time before you start.

Go and see the Phase 1 Flt/cc in your Stus. You can expect a week or 10 days off. Don't buy any tickets until you talk to your leadership. I would plan on being back a couple days early so your not a complete idiot when you start again. And Lst, stop posting crap about rumors. Facts or don't post.

I'm sure they would increase. The 08' prf's are already being written. This year is up to 230 from 212(ish).

After 10 yrs AD (2yrs left on UPT ADSC), I really enjoy flying for the AF. B-1 was awesome and T-38s are wicked fun daily. The antics that big blue pills almost daily are mind numbing (Green dot being the most recent). As everybody alluded to earlier...try and find a guard unit. Had a student recently who was a neurosurgeon and applied to a F-16 unit (SC I believe) He just got his wings in the last few months. Doable, guard would be your best bet.
