  1. We don't even need a pic, just a time...
  2. Not sure, just wanted to keep it short and simple. Doesn't matter, not posted as of now.
  3. This is the comment I submitted, we'll see if it gets published.

Didn't get the AMS Robot, anyone willing to post or PM the contents?
  5. Keep in mind that AD won't see all that 30%, if it in fact exists. There are two, possibly three AFRES units converting to C-17's as well as another new customer, India, that all need training.
  6. Actually you are both kinda right. The game was Ohio State at University of Iowa.
  7. 19th AF is one of the NAF's set to go away in the next 18 months or so, could have something to do with it (pure speculation).
  8. Article says rapid-d test to 51k. The concern I've heard is the temperature of some of the garden spots we tend to visit for months at a time.
  9. Mention this to your CC. Ours gives a two-day pass for >90 and 1 day for any improvement of 5 points. May not seem like a lot but making a weekend four days long can be a good deal. Our Sq has seen a quite an upswing in "Excellents." Sometimes you have to incentive-ize things to motivate people.
  10. I assume you are using Safari. Or some other browser?
  11. Maybe I'm just really slow, but I recently learned that certain AF Education Centers are Airman Knowledge Test Centers. If I understand this right, free tests for IP equivalency, ATP, etc. Anyone know anymore details? List
  12. I think I know what you mean, but I would clarify the contents of the message and animation. I thought the animation was well put together.
  13. Safety is priviledged, see your FSO. AIB not released yet (that I've heard).
  14. His name is Mr. Bayers, otherwise mostly correct. The other side of the coin is that if you are on the flightline, you'll need to coordinate with the long-range schedulers at the 58th. If it adversely affects the timeline, don't hold your breath. Also keep in mind sim maintenance, weather, jet maintenance and follow-on training, i.e. survival of varying flavors. In the end, you're here for training, but we do what we can.
  15. The short answer is you can stay wherever you please. The government is only on the hook for the on-base lodging rate or the rate "downtown" for any days on a non-availability slip. That said, $30x30 nights=$900/month in rent. I don't live in an apartment, but you in the past.
  16. No, yes, and I have no idea. Guys tend to get 'em after a stint at Altus, wonder why that is...? Seriously though, the only blue and white airplanes that I know for sure you have to apply for are the ones at Andrews. We just sent a guy to Macdill and I'm renting my house from a -135 guy who went to Hickam.
  17. If you like Pick Up Taco, rumor is La Hacienda is owned by the same folks. A few more seats and sit-down service. May have been mentioned earlier, but decent BBQ at Tommy Joe's.
  18. Our Sq issues Oregon Aero "hush" kits for our David Clarks. Maybe you can hit up yours and put end of year money to a good use...
  19. The wife and I just got back from the Oahu/the Hale Koa this morning. I will echo the sentiments of most so far. We really enjoyed Hanauma Bay, the Dole Plantation, Diamond Head, and Pearl Harbor/USS Arizona. Hanauma Bay is $5 per person, free for military stationed in HI. We had a car the whole time and made a trip to the Hickam Commissary for breakfast foods and booze. This really helped negate overpriced drinks and pricey food throughout Waikiki. As far as I could tell all Hale Koa rooms have been renovated. Something I overheard at breakfast one morning was to check the ITT office at Hickam/Pearl Harbor. Apparently you can get even better deals than the Activities desk at the hotel. Any specific questions, PM me.
