Well, on the bright side, it gives you a chance to test with someone besides a new fitness cell nazi. Also, the temps at the Deid will pretty much preclude testing from end of May - Sept....even at 0500.

Here at the 'Deid. After I depleted my ration of 3 beers tonight, we wandered outside to find TIB playing. I'm a big fan of music/performing in general, and I find myself pretty tolerant of acts that aren't the best. But seriously...these guys are NOT good. I'm glad I never wasted a night back at home to go see these guys.

You need a waiver for anything over 7 years time in service. I'm going there in 4 weeks, and I had to get a waiver. Had to be signed by my wing king and annotated on my orders, as well as bring a copy to SOS.

We started using this program for my wife about 4 weeks ago. Very easy to sign up for, and pretty much guaranteed to get the money.

So, we trust the dudes who 1) enter the AF with the lowest ASVAB scores and 2) are out among traffic, etc more than any other AFSC to police themselves and be ok without reflective belts, but not the rest of us? Got it.

Even if you don't have to take one when you start PIT, with the new twice-yearly PT test, you'll have to take one in April.

Any Coasties in here? Random question...do CG pilots move every 3 years like their AF counterparts, or do they have a more stable career (i.e. move less often)? Also....with the current limit of a max of 10 years of non-CG commissioned service, and the last of the 8-year post-UPT committments ending soon (only 10-year types ramaining), do you think they'll make time in service waivers automatic, or change their policy to allow more than 10 years? Best case, all AF types would be applying with at least 11 years of service.....

Michael Fassbender, 32, has been arrested and charged with raping a woman early Tuesday morning inside an interrogation room at the Survival Training Center at Fairchild. Fassbender made his first court appearance Wednesday where he was charged with 1st Degree Rape. His bond has been set at $20,000, the judge calling his alleged crime exceptionally violent. Court documents allege Fassbender squeezed the victim's throat until she was unconscious. The victim told detectives she thought Fassbender was going to kill her. When detectives arrived, they found a considerable amount of physical evidence in the interrogation room. Fassbender is an employee with SERE Solutions, a Spokane-based company which contracts instructors to work in SERE School programs such as Fairchild’s SERE School. However, whencontacted about Fassbender’s employment, all questions were referred to Fairchild Air Force Base. The airbase, when contacted about Fassbender’s status, referred all questions to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.

Quick question for any recent SOS grads....the SOS website says to not book any departing flights before 1400 on graduation day. What time did you all finish graduation/anything else you had to do that day? Is there any way I could make a 1330 flight? Also, anyone on here in class 10C, starting 22 Feb?
