I wouldn't say 99%. It's just the nature of ops in the sustainment phase and completing for face time with the AMC pretty boy. It's really a matter of being in the right place at the right time. I seen deployments that where mostly trash hauling followed by deployments filled with lots of airdrop/LZ opportunities. HD -

I can understand that sentiment, but there are two lessons she needs to learn real...damn...fast. 1) Don't make stupid faces in pictures, especially if your face already looks like a bag of rancid ass. 2) Dump the boyfriend...quick. He's convinced that she's beautiful. Despite the shit storm he's created, he will continue attempting to prove it by posting her pictures on any site that will host them. HD

That's exactly what I was referencing in my earlier post. These are the same guys who had the first few crops of MPDs absolutely convinced that they would be AC's when they graduated. HD

I'll agree that familiarity with AF regs is a problem for Corpus studs, they spend the real learning portion of UPT flying in a service that has little more published besides the FARs. Not to mention there is usually a healthy BIT from Corpus to the Rock. On the other side, I still think Corpus studs have better instrument SA solely based on their comfort with flying IAPs with the added stress of partial-panel.
Did you seriously think you weren't going to take any shit over your chest-beating, self-congratulatory thread about your decision to get off the couch? Since you asked for constructive criticism, I'll give you some: 1) You could have handled this better. A post like "I recently started running again, does anyone have any advice on how to improve my time?" would have brought you no problems. But if you had searched, you would have found there are several running threads to begin with. 2) Think real hard next time before clicking the "New Thread" button. HD
It is possible to get a Herk out of Tones, but it's rare. As far as AFSOC goes, chances are even worse. As always, put it on your dream sheet. If that doesn't happen, you can still try for a slick or FAIP and try to get AFSOC after that. HD
I agree with you. The whole point behind the forum is that you can view discussions at your leisure. If the majority of discussions end up in a chatroom, then the people who aren't online at the time end up missing out. Sounds like you weren't watching last season. HD
Standard MPD rumor mill hooplah. The confusion on left seat pilot vs. aicraft commander has been ramapant since MPD started. 11M3B means you are an aircraft commander (which is determined by your SQ/CC). MPD produces left-seat qualified pilots, not ACs. HD
I'll agree with Boom. It's a rumor and NO ONE has an official e-mail in their inbox yet. From what that article said, it sounds like Schwartz is actually looking at issues that need attention. On a separate note, did anyone else catch in that article that they changed the AF mission statement? "The mission of the United States Air Force is to fly, fight and win...in air, space and cyberspace." Yeah, they kept the cyberspace part. But still other than that it's back to the old mission statement. No more "sovreign options" bullshit. When Moseley changed that mission statement, he had PA run about 20 articles on it. HD
