Haven't shaved since the first of August, so I'm looking like an extra on Vikings!

9 Incredible Achievements Of The 91-Year-Old Retired Air Force General Who Broke The Sound Barrier Yeah, the lack of a "shut the fuck up and live with it like the rest of us" option negates any reason to vote in this "poll"...

First, I can't speak to the laws of Maine but in some states you are allowed to open carry on your own private property. Secondly, I agree in that the police only received a call stating there was an individual with a gun. Whether that is true or not, they will respond accordingly, as they did. As you stated, he wasn't charged and he's not even cuffed in the photograph so I don't see what all the fuss is about; but considering the news this morning reported about some kid who didn't get a foul ball at a baseball game, I can only guess it was a slow news day! Lastly, the tattoo is not against the laws, unless we're talking about the laws of good taste! But one look at that guy and I would say he has a history of bad choices. Even the look on the deputy's face tells he's also thinking what a douchebag this guy is! Cheers! M2
  4. And as expected, a quick response from ARRSE...

Apparently this all started on ArmsList according to folks on other gun forums...

Yeah, I can imagine what might happen if a slight "glitch" were to occur... Whoops!
  8. Started new thread without searching. Fail. Thread closed.

How much time before this is an issue at the base gym?!?

And Texas, we've got tons of ex-Kommifornicatians moving here because of that state's big problems...
  13. B.B. Bell was a bit of a lunatic, but still a good dude for an Army GO and miles better than Doc. He actually came to SHAPE and read books to my son's kindergarten class, and my son said Bell really was a hit with the kids! Bell also wasn't the only senior officer in Europe that thought Doc was an assclown... Anyone else remember that gay-ass motorcycle safety commercial Doc did?

Nothing to add, just wanted the 5000th post in this thread!
  15. This has to be the first thing you've ever posted on this forum that I can actually agree with! The rest of your dribble is pure bullshit. Seriously, I hope you're smarter than that!
  16. Exactly. I understand that people make mistakes, but the fact that she still doesn't get what she did was wrong means she simply doesn't "get it" and doesn't need to be wearing the uniform... By the way, this was also posted in the but as aptly noted by Majestik Møøse, if we started a 'What's Wrong With the Army' thread it was be a much longer thread!
  17. Not Air Force, but still the same issue with some of the younger troops... And before anyone pipes up, Army Regulation 600-25, "Salutes, Honors, and Visits of Courtesy" states that during "Reveille" and "Retreat," moving vehicles will stop and military passengers and drivers will dismount and render the proper courtesies...

Picked this Ruger Mk III up today for a Jackson under three Benjamins... I've always wanted one and this will probably satisfy my hunger for a GSG .22LR 1911. Will try and get to the range tomorrow, been out of the country for the past few weeks and I am overdue for putting some holes in paper... Oh, and this made me chuckle! Cheers! M2

Seriously? You made a mistake in posting that, but I consider it an honest one because you actually believe it; but if you are trying to convince me that such stupid acts should be as easily forgiven as an honest mistake you are looking at the world through very narrow glasses. As for the individual on here who sent the "email heard around the world," I know the circumstances behind it and honestly understand why he did it. Plus, I know he is an outstanding individual and a credit to the Air Force, and it'd be a much better service if it had more people like him in it! These shitbags are simply being idiots and if they've got nothing better to do with their time than snap idiotic pictures like this, then I see some great candidates for the force reduction efforts. Lastly, this wasn't a "sweeping judgment" but a spot-on one directed towards some asinine individuals, kinda like this response to your post!

I was on a base honor guard during my enlisted days, and yeah we used to crack quiet the occasional joke or make comments at funerals, but the main difference is that we didn't broadcast it to the entire fucking world! I've actually done a lot of stupid shit in my life but for the most part I was smart enough to try and contain the witnesses down to the most minimal level possible. These idiots are not only idiots but are showing their asses to the entire world. Only a fucking moron doesn't understand what the first two 'Ws' in 'WWW' stands for! Sorry, but I have no sympathy for such stupidity, and they get all the "attention" they deserve!
