Interesting article from the Army Times... Military community reaction mixed to Bergdahl release

DFRESH I did a search on the name 'Bergdahl' and it came back with one hit from the following thread.. However, that name was mentioned several times in the 'Leaving Afghanistan' thread. Oddly enough, doing a Google search against the following parameters also only returned the one hit: Bergdahl site:https://www.flyingsquadron.com/forums Any idea why the search function isn't working properly? Yep, the few bits I bothered watching were shit. I noticed the same thing, B-17s as a part of German raids on London. If they're not going to get the basic facts right, they shouldn't have bothered at all!

Was putting gas in the Jeep this afternoon in Helotes (NW San Antonio) and saw this huge RV going down Bandera Road towards downtown. Lo and behold it was the official TiB tour bus... I only wish I had a dozen rotten eggs with me, as I would have loved to paint that thing up with them!

If he's buying handguns at the Offutt BX, then he's in Nebraska. I think the M&P is a much smarter choice for a personal firearm, but I would still take a Springfield XD over one. The S&Ws are replacing a lot of Glocks with police departments, but from what I heard in the SAPD was that the XD was rated over the M&P during the competition for a replacement service weapon; but S&W offered the department such a great deal on their pistols (plus the fact that they provide the ARs the department uses), they made the more economical choice. Still, I have no problems with the M&P line and many people love them. I am just very partial towards the XD as the ones I have owned have been amazingly accurate and reliable. Cheers! M2
