  1. You make a ton of assumptions. The top line was not about you specifically, but about a few other people who put twitter and videos on here like it's the same as an article from the WSJ, or WaPo. I posted a tool to help people figure out if they're following bots. You posted it, assumed that all the reactions were negative digs at you...k. Actually, you did with "Perhaps it's a hoax." Disagree, and it was a question not a statement. There are a lot of my friends, and other people on this board, sharing this type of "information" about why the election was stolen en masse from Trump. These same ideas are being floated by his legal counsel outside of a courtroom. The President is lining up behind these outlandish theories. It's not a stretch at all to wonder if this is really what the Republicans are going to line up behind. I compared two groups citing poor/no-research to draw outlandish and possibly damaging conclusions. Of course, and having a President call it into question, and asking legislatures to overturn the Peoples vote is more damaging than the minuscule amount of voter fraud than has been perpetrated. This is impossible with human beings, and it is not only idealistic but naive. No system has 100% security that is worth using. Oh, look another false assumption. I've dismissed no allegations of fraud, where it is found it needs to be punished. I've asked for evidence for the mountain of fraud the plaintiff's (and the President) is suggesting, and they've produced zero. Flipping/fixing 100 votes where Biden is ahead by 40K is not indicative of massive fraud. Flipping a swing state - not fraud. Yea, I do. Like all things, the breadth of the word "hacked' is lost on some people as words evolve. Hacked covers everything from rooting a box halfway around the world, to social engineering getting a large fry from the local Carl's Jr these days. The definition changed from the 90's-00's. They did "hack" our election in the sense they used the information they "hacked by technical means" from the DNC to "hack by influence ops" the election. Depends on a lot of things. I have no exp w/ Philly's voting setup. I have a small amount of exp w/ TX's setup. If they're similar then I think it's highly unlikely a foreign actor did anything to the voting machines themselves. In Tx the devices were not networked together, or on the internet during voting. I also don't think they're plugged into the WWW except for maybe updates, but a competent security person would not do that, and instead pull the updates to load off a gaped network. So instead, you're talking about a voter walking in and plugging something in to modify the machine and vote totals...sure, could happen. It would also be caught by the audits the election folks have when they start seeing issues with the voting as happened a couple times in the election. We keep a human in the loop for important things: autonomous weapons, nuclear reactors, voting. Additionally, believe that Philly has paper records of the votes as well, so you'd just audit that. Otherwise you're talking about a massive conspiracy across counties and states to modify the vote for only 1 candidate on the ticket. Having taken quite a few statistics courses on my way to my illustrious masters degree - that's 9/11-Truther levels of whackadoodle. Finally, cyber isn't something that states are going to just throw around. Everyone gets caught at some point. Some more or less than others. Cyber costs a lot to develop, professionalize and use. Burning it sucks, a lot. You're not going to throw it after a single voting machine in Philly, you're going to target something better. It's easier to think of strategically as kinda nuclear weapons. This is a imperfect analogy. We've all got cyber (ex. in ours/adversary utility structure - like missiles in tubes), it's ready to go, but we're not doing a "massive attack" with them because that would be "crossing a red line" and threaten our own way of life (ex. destroying utility infrastructure.") Nukes also had the stipulation if you attacked the detection/launch capabilities, it was considered an attack. I'm not politician...but I'd consider the bedrock of the democratic experience, voting, to be a big red line.
  2. Not sure why educated people here are still taking TikTok videos shared on anonymous twitter handles over what the President's own lawyers are putting forward in court. We had 4 years of the admin screaming fake news, but this is what the Republicans are going to line up behind? ๐Ÿคจ It's like arguing with anti-vaxers. "Here's all the evidence showing it doesn't cause autism, poison you, etc." "We'll, @real_doc_189432 on Twitter said there's mercury and live virus in the MMR vaccine! Plus my FaceBook group, "Mom's who actually care about Vax" just had a post about someone's who's twins died due to the flu shot." Also, here's a pretty good bot detector for twitter. It's not perfect, nothing is (including voting machines, or F22's), but it'll provide you with more information about where some of you might be getting informed. https://botometer.osome.iu.edu/ Ben Shapiro's podcast goes over the latest lawsuit nonsense. Dude is right with the facts as usual...and guess what, Trump's latest nonsense lawsuit - tossed out (here's the ruling). Of course the failure that is Guiliani goes right to "Obama appointed judge" not have any facts that Judge Brann - "He also spent years as a Republican Party official in Pennsylvania and was active in the Federalist Society and National Rifle Association." Welcome Pres-Elect Biden? We'll see what happens in the Senate in GA, I'm guessing they're both elected as Republicans because that's how the election has gone everywhere else: reject the chaos that is Trump, reject the Democrats as a party.
  3. I'm going to watch this every time it's posted.
  4. You cross the border, you cross the border

@Guardian and I agree a lot more on this topic. You need to figure out where you want to be in 5ish years and work backwards from there. Guardian is right, you have immensely more power because they're going to be less inclined to outright fuck you, but might give you some kind political stink on exit...but who cares?
  6. Well, obesity is a co-morbidity. Just because someone has a co-morbidity doesn't mean they couldn't have had a much longer life. I have a quite a few, some I'm working on, some I got cursed genetics on. My line generally survives until about 70 without medical intervention, with it..Dad's probably going to get into his mid-80's. To hand wave a possible COVID death off for me with "co-morbidity" isn't a honest way to look at it. I think that's the same for a lot of the folks out there. What I've read more was pregnant women late in term having miscarriages, and at least here in UT there's some strange syndrome hitting some of the kids that get it.
  7. IF you're on a normal browser you can use "private" or "incognito" mode and get some more free views. That's your cyber tip for the day!
  8. Well, Georgia just finished the hand recount...anyone care to guess what happened? @Sim, @Seadogs I see Giuliani has upped the ante with "a national movement to defraud the election." Still going with that?
  9. 1) Of course it's Florida. 2) The juxtaposition of the tiny tires, to the huge tires is hilarious. Good video, thanks for sharing.
  10. That's too bad. Dude is legit in the cyber community. He knew what he was doing, and really turned that org around and got it working well with industry and community.
  11. Gee.. it's almost like there's a partisan reason it didn't happen this time instead of the past. Good to know the upstanding Republicans have really been interested in cleaning up this issue for years. ""Out of balance" poll books were also found in the August primary and the 2016 general election results, but the Wayne County board still had voted to certify the election, per the News...Detroit's poll books were found to be 72% out of balance in the August primary. Also, in 2016, vote totals for 59% of the Detroit precincts could not be reconciled, mostly because of finding too many had voted, per the News." It goes to the next board up, then Sec State apparently according to that article. @Sim yea...I'm not going to trust @trumprulzz for my latest/greatest news. Here's an interesting question, why couldn't you link the tweet this bot account linked? Why are you not just referencing the Newsmax tweet? As for Heather Mullins, why does every "Real America's Voice" news article link to https://justthenews.com for the article text? That's super legit for a trusted reporting sources. Why does she only have 2 tagged video articles from earlier this year, and 4 other ones that come up on site search. Again, totally normal for a professional news organization. You click on "News" on their site, and it's their War Room podcast, which looks like it has Bannon on it a lot. You legit think this site, and it's "reporters," are a credible source of news? She doesn't even have a link to the site in her Twitter Bio. None of that is suspicious to you, but CNN, Fox, DailyWire...hell, the Washington Examiner, are too MSM for you to trust. Damn...you're straight "Email Forwards from Grandma." Let me know when your Nigerian Prince is ready to send you the money he promised.
  12. 2 Questions on this: What's the source/logic behind having the ICU at 80-90% all time, when now the hospital administrators, state health director and doctors across my whole state (UT) are stating utilization rates have exceeded staffing capacity (85%+), and the drive in the early months was to flatten the curve from CDC/Health Dudes? I've seen the videos on our "less impactful" (can't think of better words) Flu season last year "burning off" the chaff that didn't die. (I've also followed a swedish doctor who won a Nobel prize for...something data science related, going on about the need for herd immunity, and it only really needing to be around 20%. I wonder if it was the same as your guy.) However, I believe the current us excess deaths does not account for the normal die off from the prior flu season + extra flu season. Thoughts on that?
  13. Was that alien @Seadogs down-voting every comment that isn't @Guardian or @Sim?
  14. Well, it has been about 13 hours without a response. Be prepared for Guardian's Magnum Opus. I'm sure @Sim is getting a BitChute video ready that supports all his positions.
  15. This is a matter of perspective answer. Some people will find them radical, some won't. I surmise most won't care. Tea Party kinda died after Ted Cruz caused the gov't shutdown, and the R's took both houses of Congress. I imagine we'll be hearing from political scientists/historians how it paved the way for Trumpism, where the Tea Party ideals were abandoned for the "most conservative president ever."
  16. Him yelling at the 9/11 truthers to "get the fuck out" is one of my favorite things.

I thought the 80s movie was an interesting take on the book. Come to find out after the fact there was a ton of studio meddling, and the special effects of the day didn't really let them do what they wanted to. I think it is faithful in spirit. I'm looking forward to the new movie. I still haven't seen all of the SciFi series on it...was busy getting the degree when it dropped.
  19. Damn, that was really good. It's why I only voted blue at Pres, Red almost everything else. Though, I will say he doesn't have the read on that hockey player who bullied the kid. There are additional reports he kept verbally abusing the kid after the court case, but I can't be bothered to find them now. Sorry.
  20. I have no idea what you guys are talking about, but it's making me want to start on my PPL.
  21. How about the other counties, and other states? Like also how after 25% it changes from "eyewitness" to...not that. I'm sure that won't be a problem in court. Also, just because it's in CAPS doesn't make it more official. FYI.

Yep, happy to see Seb get on podium again as well. Race was way too early for me, so I just caught the highlights.
  23. I made it only 1/2 way, sorry. They need an editor, and a script. As I've said before, these are one side of the case only. They are the Trump lawyers exhibits, and there's already been contested affidavit's (ex. postal worker) showing a lack of strength to the truthiness of all these claims. Looks like there's 3 lawsuits in Michigan right now, 2 Trump campaign, 1 other supporting. 2 have been denied, this one, which I assume is the last one has not yet been seen by a judge as far as I can tell. Perhaps there's a 4th, if so it's also been denied as far as I can find. A lot of these cases have been denied because the affidavits come to the court like this - "Judge Cynthia Stephens said in a written order Friday that while one plaintiff alleged he was excluded from watching the ballot counting, "the complaint does not specify when, where, or by whom plaintiff was excluded. Nor does the complaint provide any details about why the alleged exclusion occurred." So no, it wasn't convincing that there's wide spread fraud in MI, a traditional democratic state since since the first Clinton election that Trump only won by .22% or 10.7K votes. What's more likely...massive voter fraud, or a return to the blue voting for the past 30 years? Biden won by current count of 146K. Which is about what Kerry and Gore took over Dubya. But there's going to be massive, statewide fraud to "create" 600K+ votes for Biden out of nowhere. Sure.
  24. So, for the dummy in the room...what's IRRL in this context.
  25. We can't get people to wear masks to stop a pandemic, but we're going to get them to dye their finger? The evidence so far from the Trump lawyers does not support your assessment that the win/loss margin was narrow enough that these results will be overturned. Getting 10K votes thrown out where Biden won by 150K is a fools errand. There are yet not enough documented accounts to support those claims. The Trump lawyer team has claimed there is, but hasn't produced the evidence.
