Got nothing right now, besides that the guy was hated universally across the Wing. We have Captains and Lt's who have more flying hours than their O-6 Wing Commander. I'd call him a Penguin since he flew about as often as those birds do.....but then I'd be insulting a really pretty bird that lives in the Antarctic. I thought our Butch OG was the gayest thing I ever saw at the Deid....or maybe it was the woman in comfortable shoes who was the host nation escort for aircrew.

OK, back on topic...........the Deid sucks. And if you're an operator (read aircrew) and sit through Right Exit, then you're as gay as that base too.

And the OG was having the crews brief about their MWS as well. The best part about the whole thing was the current OG, whose last name might rhyme with Knot, actually sent an email to the AC who was there for the brief telling them just how wonderful a job they did. Bottom line, the OG wasn't at the brief and there wasn't anyone else at the brief either. Talk about clueless.

So, let's count your hours.......500 Hours during Operation Iraqi Freedom with your feet up and reading Maxim with the autopilot on flying from Turkey into the box and back out. 500 hours flying to and from Operation Enduring Freedom while you're cruising along at FL 330 on the Boulevard Northbound making asinine radio calls while reading a Maxim before you start the 5 minute approach to Baghram, where you'll hopefully put the gear down before you land, and manage to keep the plane on the runway. C-17's might rule......one of these days.

You don't even know where you worked. I've never heard of the Deed, unless it was in reference to my house. I know it's hard to understand, but it called the 'DEID for a reason. Until you can learn that, we'll continue to have problems. And yes, I know what those pallets are for. Yoda, As evidenced by your total lack of SA and the thread topic, it's called the 'Deid for a reason. As in Al Udeid Air Base......Deed would be that thing to your house that you get once you finally pay it off totally. And as evidenced by the rest of your post, you are obviously not a flyer who has to continue to put up with bullsh!t rules that make our mission harder to execute. The only good thing I have to say about the Deid is that I"m not there. That place BLOWS Edited after daynight posted. Damn I have to stop drinking when I post.

Hey, anyone who wants to try and take away a perfectly legitimate/legal uniform to follow specific guidance in order to make the AF more to their liking, should be kicked on a daily basis. And since I"m flying tomorrow, I'll use my boots and forgo the shoe clerk footwear.
